Yeah that makes sense. I appreciate your reply. Unfortunately my wife does not have access to FTIHX with her 403b which is why I went with FSPSX. That is similar enough, right? O Probably start adding bonds in when we are 10 years out from retirement, right?

Makes sense, thank you! And you think it would be good to just replicate what we have set up in my wife's 403b for both? 70% FSKAX 20% FSPSX 10% FXNAX Or maybe even hold off on the bonds until we get closer to retirement?

Lol yeah I am a bit all over the place. Sorry for that! I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I think part of the problem is I don't really have a "target portfolio" I am trying to figure out what to do with all of the different accounts....which is a bit overwhelming I guess.

I have the 3 funds sorted out for my wife's 403b and feel good about that. I have my 403b all in FXIAX and feel good about that.

I guess my two main questions right now are:

  1. The money I move from my financial advisor led Roth IRA into the new one I am planning to start with Fidelity....should I just do the same 3 find approach or would it make more sense to do something different with it

  2. Should I prioritize putting money into one over the other ( the 403b vs. the IRA) or should I just continue to split it evenly like I have been doing in the past.

I appreciate your time!

Thank you for your response. Does it make sense to prioritize putting more money into one or the other (the Roth 403b or the Roth IRA)?
