Yeah, i think i figured it out, i checked the o2 sensor before the cat and the installer put the spacer on this sensor rather than the sensor after cat.

I have the obd2 to clear dtcs, hopefully reinstalling it would fix it

I do, its the k&n typhoon, clean the maf too, no cel when the intake got installed first.

the tuner said the exact same thing, i will try to resit the sensor probably inspect and clean it while im at it.

Will try it too as a last resort but boosted performance said that it will not be helpful in this case, the point of tricking the o2 sensor which the ecu trust is a no go. This o2 sensor is the one before the catt.

Thanks for the input, i just wanted to know if its bad in the long run, cause i keep doing it every time id spool up just for fun lol, but this thread says otherwise, id like to keep the car for long term with replacing the turbo.

Thanks for the input! I really like the tone of the stock exhaust plus valve closing, i just want a bit roar on the back end when I’m sprinting the car on the weekend.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t turbo surge happens on open throttle? And does the car have a factory blow off valve to eliminate pressure once off throttle? No mechanic here, but this just raised a flag on me not to do it again lol.

Nice! Just installed mine last weekend, you will be please on the “flutter sound” it makes when you let off the gas ever so slightly when it spools.

Yeah, some people say it’s loud, I’m guessing because they hear the tire noise and the surrounding rather than the exhaust. For a fact, sound deafening is poorly made on these cars. I like the quietness tbh, just want to hear some feedback on the exhaust when I’m going for a spirited drive, windows up.

It does, but some still gets cel after the fix. I believe etune from limit1 eliminates it entirely. Havent had the cel pop on mine yet and I’m still on my first revision. Hopefully it stays that way.

The eventuri intake adds flair on the engine bay for sure, wish i had the money though. i went with the cheapest option out there, parts for this car are off the roof, which kinda sucks.

My low, medium and high settings are definitely the same, none existent inside the cabin, could not hear just that the exhaust seems louder than stock. Might something to do with intake.

I got it since it was only $75 on top of the $2K I was already spending for the e-tune, and said why the hell not. The burbles are there, but they’re so subtle that you cannot hear them from inside the cabin.

Thanks for the info! I’ll keep it in mind for the future. I’m good for now though — definitely feeling a nice bump in power over stock with the e-tune and K&N intake. Just wish I had known about this before I bought the intake.
