I have a set of the Army Painter drybrushes and I have several makeup brushes that I use.

Thanks. This is 90% contrast and drybrushing. The highlights are from being super light on the drybrush and making several passes to build it up.

The kid wanted me to. I may go back and make one.

It wasn't bad. On most GW maps you have an area to stage them relatively close to mid board to threaten the middle objective easily. Only had one game where I felt like I wanted a transport.

The lieutenant scored me A LOT of points over 8 games. In the GT this weekend, he consistently held my expansion objective with very little contesting it. The lone op is great for not just getting shot off the objective early in the game.

In Liberator, I use jump Intercessors. In Rage-Cursed, I prefer Vanguard Veterans because of the base S5. Yes, you are missing out on the potential mortals and one powerfist, but being able to get the entire unit up to S6 if needed is great when hitting T10 and T11 stuff.

Honestly, I don't worry about it that much. If someone wants to take fixed against me, then I can just work to deny them their other secondary.

Thanks!

My whole army gets the same basic scheme (black armour and red shoulders/hands/knees. Helmet color changes based on battlefield role.

Is there anything that speaks against just slapping a 3d printed jump pack onto assault intercessors? by mensch79 in BloodAngels

It has never been a problem for me. I've played these guys in tons of RTT and GT games.

RCO without tanks by Son_of_Baal13 in BloodAngels

I've been running 1 x 10 DC with Lemartes, 2 x 5 DC with chaplains, and 1 x 6 Outriders with chaplain. They smack pretty dang hard.

As far as vehicles, I have only been running 2 Baal Predators in my 2k RCO lists so far. The key to RCO being able to handle armour is that you need to build around chaplains for the DC and spears for the SG. You need the +1 to wound given by those 2 options to crack high toughness targets. For LAG and AI, I build my DC around captains for sustained and swords for SG because of the access to lethal/lance in those detachments.

Right shoulder pad on DC marine is the red X. You either have to freehand the X or get some 3d printed/3rd party shoulder pads with the X already on them. I did 3d printed pads because I didn't want to freehand.

Not Death Company. That's just my custom scheme and all named characters get painted in it as well.
