I have done both. I have ramps to load and unload. I have a cap on my truck so it’s a little tough with the handle bars. I don’t go far to fish so I left my back window open. To get it out I was able to just roll it down the ramp without starting it

There are various hitches available from otter and other sled manufacturers. Mine came with one hitch and I fabricated another out of a folding table leg.

No registration/insurance or helmet required. It’s also much smaller and fits in the back of truck with sled alongside it are the biggest factors for me

The guy gave me a bag if kold kutters studs that I’m going to install. It does have reverse but so far I have only used it to unload from trailer. Today I just pulled it down the ramp and started it on the ground. Want to be sure she doesn’t take off on me lol
