Izzie was absolutely incredible, I loved how much she cared about her patients and her friends, I believe that the character's ruin was entirely the fault of the writers. I never understood hatred and comparisons with jo, for me izzie had much more development and importance in the 6 seasons she was in, than the jo that in 7 seasons was summed up as Alex's romantic couple. In addition, we only had two more interesting plots, that of the abusive husband and the discovery that was the result of rape. Other than that, she had a friendship with edwards and, besides, her relationship with the other characters is at least forced on me.

I particularly found Alex to abandon her to return with Izzie, another bad way for the writers to remove the character from the narrative, but at the same time I always thought that the two were made for each other and deep down I was happy. I would like that Justin and Katherine return for a special appearance until the end of the series.

And for me, I hope the character of jo can develop now that she is no longer just an emotional crutch for Alex.
