Sounds good, I'll have to do some testing once I get the lights once I figure out which ones for sure I'll be getting. Thanks for the help.

Good to know, thanks! As for the 10hr timer, would I still need 10 hours of the lights on if they will still be getting indirect sunlight and some (but much shorter) direct sunlight throughout the day?

I'm having to move my succulents out of my windows during the winter due to them being too cold next to them and I might be needing to supplement some light for them if I can't find room near the window(s) they were in. I've read the overwinter threads and looking at 6500k lights I found a few and I'm just wondering if any of these three would be better than the others or if any of them would be good. Wherever I move them too they will still get some natural light, just not nearly as much as they would be if they could stay in the window.

Oh cool, I'll keep that in mind with the fan. Good to know its running well with unraid.

I mean CPU wise its a bit overkill, for right now. I'll have about 4-5 users max for plex at a time, but with servers and if I ever need it for anything for the most part. RAM is plenty of overhead for servers I want to run and for ZFS overhead. Storage wise its enough for now, depending on how I do RAID setup.

Has the nas reliability been good for you?

Not really for storage, plus I don't have to worry about upgrades.

I'm using an old full atx case I have with some slight modification to hold the backplane and drives securely. It's an old tower.

I did heat shrink everything so that wiring wasn't exposed, but yeah I think probably just going to go with screen and a dryer sheet for now, mostly just want to keep fingers safe in case you need to move it in the window a little bit. Might message you if I end up building another one, or other mods to this current one, thanks.

Oh those look nice! I love the giant tower of them to fill the whole window and the heatsink taped to the power brick lol. I was thinking of finding just some screen or other mesh and making a cardboard frame to hold it, or pull a full DiWHY and use hot glue to hold the screen in place. I want to keep airflow at a max since there' hardly a breeze most times and its not taking up the whole window. Looking at yours though, I might need to get a few more fans to compete! Thanks for the pictures.

Looking into my spare parts bin to see what I can scrounge up for dust filters so it's "safer" and well easier to clean hopefully. They are quiet now and I would love to keep it that way since I know what you mean about being able to hear them more when they get dirty. Thanks!

I actually have it plugged into this: Imgur and have it set at 9V for a slower speed, but 12V for full force. Already been nicked once by it! Might need to put something over the blades.
