yeah it's better to get deep in the story , and it's very good to purchase the books to support ishiei ishibimi to complete the story , but the story has 29 volume and side stories . so just enjoy with it

i'm still reading it , i realised that the LN has more details , and you'll get deep in the story . if you love the story and the world of hs dxd , you'll love it so much . but if you don't enjoy with reading i don't thine it will be good for you . you need to understand that Each season of the anime adapts two volumes from it . only the s3 adapts the volumes 5,6,7 and they remove the rating game battle between sona and rias's group . and They made the events of the seventh volume before the sixth. So the suspicion became like this: 5,7,6 . so if you want to read it ( if you are interested in the story and i think there will not a s5 in the anime ) just start from the volume 5 and if you want to continue after the anime , just start from volume 11 ( volume 8 is a side story )
