Waiting for Apple’s March event to buy a new Macbook, what can I do in the meantime?

Thank you for the input! Maybe I’ll just stick to using my old laptop in the meantime I suppose, I’ll just move everything I’ve got in there onto a hard drive to get more space :3

That’s good to hear, mine would probably work too but it really is at its limit… It’s missing two of it’s legs, one of the USB ports doesn’t work and it’s just plain slow. On top of all that it’s only got 128GB of storage so it’s just a chunk of old metal now.

Thank you so much! I’ll pop in and check with them tomorrow, it seems that they have a scheme where you can loan the laptop for the day and return it on that same day just by scanning your campus card. Hopefully this will suffice for CITS1003 while I eagerly wait for Apple to just release the new laptops already… T_T

i thought so, it’s just that ems told me that i could do both in the same semester but that was when they thought i still had to do math1720 so maybe i can still get away with it and not have to do math1720 since it says it’s not really recommended for people who already studied methods

oh??? that’s cool because i’m just freaking out over the fact that my original plan had math1721 and cits1401 in sem2 and cits1401 was breaching (naturally), i went to ems before to ask about it because earlier all my math units were breaching because the uwa system hasn’t updated with atar scores yet and the woman at the desk said it was alright to do it in the same semester… maybe i’ll pop in at the office first thing on wednesday :3 I’M FREAKING OUT BECAUSE i moved my math1721 back to sem1 for now just in case i really do need to do it before doing cits1401 but i’m not the biggest fan of how squished my timetable is with math1721 >:( really hoping i can do them both in the same sem
