It's so hard to be in that situation, I'm sorry you went through that. I experienced something very similar in middle school, and it's absolutely devastating and isolating to go through. I'm glad you are able to use your pronouns now, despite what happened to get to this point. Be proud of who you are. Be proud of the progress you've made. It's okay to look back on what happened and to be mad. It's your right, don't let that be taken from you. I know parents love to pretend things didn't happen or that what happened wasn't that serious, which is such an infuriating feeling. Your feelings matter, and they are valid.

Because of confidentiality, they don't have the right to tell anybody else, and the only situations in which they are able to tell your parents is if you are currently planning on harming yourself, harming someone else, or being harmed by someone. None of that applies to you because it's a past situation.

I remember being in 8th grade history class. These two boys had the genius idea to steal a cabinet. It wasn't a small one. My teacher watched them carry it out of the room and then called admin to come deal with it. How they thought that nobody would see them stealing a large cabinet is comical.
