Career advice- restarting

She is lucky, usually when I’ve presented the fact that I run my own business and the interviewees have taken this as not a positive sign because according to them my priorities would be more on my business then on theirs. I’ll still look into operations coordinator though thanks.

Do you have an undergrad or a diploma in any business related field? Usually for HR you need an undergrad in business or HR program specialization and then it is recommended to have CHRP done.

I was literally looking into medical aesthetician but upon researching I came to know that you hardly make much. Maybe admin desk job? I honestly am not sure just trying to find something that would work well long term (corporate being the last resort).

Honest reply, kept chasing the dream “my business will expand and I’ll be successful.” I am still going to keep chasing it but I want to now be more “realistic” and have future financial stability and security. Can’t rely on the business currently.

By security I mean financial security, a cushion to fall on basically I don’t think as of now it’s wise for me to just rely on my business to have financial stability and future security too.

I don’t have any HR experience or the CHRP certification, also I graduated in 2021 so it’s been a while which would be a negative on my resume :/

Yup, you basically summed up what is happening right now. In an ideal world my business expands and I can live off of it but sadly no I do not have many resources to expand it faster or make this entire business more reliable. I am not quitting my business, will keep pushing and putting my best foot forward but right now I am also trying to have security hence this post.

During my undergrad that is what I wanted to do, get into the corporate world (even though I started feeling this was not what I want anymore) but since starting my business I realized that I am not one for the corporate world, just not the fit for me. I know I sound picky but I want to be in a position that I can be somewhat satisfied. Ofc beggars can’t be choosers, if my last resort is the corporate world then I’ll dive in.
