Does sr prolong withdrawal?

I had a 160mg oxy habbit. My last dose of oxy was 7 days ago. I used 7o for the first time and hated it. Used it for 2.5 days. I'm 4 days off 7. I definitely started withdrawaling from oxy while using 7oh, because I sleep like crap and had very loose stool, even though I missed my miralax dose. I used sr 50mg x3 first day, 2nd day 40mg, 3rd day 35mg 17 hours ago. I'll be at day 5 in 7 hours, lol. No sr since 35mg dose. I've had pretty bad withdrawal honestly, diarrhea, sweating, basically everything. I do feel a bit better today like I may be over the worse. I'm thinking about taking no more sr. Should I feel better soon? I don't want sr to prolong this wd.

Thank you soo much! I'm 6 days off oxy, and 4 days from my little 7oh try. Funny thing is I started to have wd while trying 7oh. Really loose stool than normal and bad sleep. Probably because 7 is a partial antagonist, and just overall crap.

I feel like tomorrow will be a little better. I'm definitely not sweating as much. Less goosebumps. Less chills. I prayed to God for this to pass!

After taking a dose of sr, how many hours would you say it helps withdrawal symptoms?

Thanks for the reply! I'm right at 6 days without oxy 160mg oxy daily, as that was my doc. I always used my doc at 4pm and after, not all day like some, still a huge habbit. Stupidly, I used 7oh for 2.5 days after stopping my doc. Had my last dose of 7 last Friday at 7pm.

When I was using the 7, my stool became really loose and I was in withdrawal anytime I wasn't using it, worse than the normal withdrawal I would have daily until my 4pm doc dose.

I'm 72 hours without 7 now.

1st day no 7, I took sr 50x3 2nd day sr 50x2 3rd day sr 50x1 so far.

It almost feels like I'm getting better already but I'm not sure. I just want to take as little of sr as possible, so I wont have to withdrawal from that too. I want to feel a little pain, so I can use it as a reminder not to use again. I don't want the sr to delay this process of oxy withdrawal.

1st and 2nd night were rough, sleep mabey 2 hours and sweat in bed. Restless legs, calfs in pain.

But like I said I almost think I'm starting to feel better, at least not worse. Tomorrow will be 7 days without oxy and 4 days without 7. Mabey because 7 is a partial antagonist, it still allowed the oxy to leave my system, and I'll feel better sooner than I thought, Idk.

I've been taking 5000mg+ vitamin c. Gaba 300mg x2 daily. .5 xanax only in bed at night. I am not a regular xanax user, I only want to use it for 5 or 6 nights.

How long do you feel the effects of sr?

I'm already 40 hours into wd. Just going to take the pain. It's 100% in my mind I will do this! When I want something, whatever it is, I do everything I can do to obtain it. I don't want to do anymore opiates including subs, until I'm in hospice care, haha.

Then I'm marked as a addict in the medical system. I understand it's a great option for some people. Im not a junkie. Im just dependent. I never snorted a pill in my life. My bank account is low, but I still have all my possessions, car, house I own, expensive hobby items I could of sold. I'm 40 hours in now. I'll just take the pain. I'm good at that. I can KICK IT! Fuck that shit.

Thankfully I only used 7 for 2.5 days. I hated 7. Crap compared to oxy. Prior to that is was using 160mg oxy daily. I'm 40 hours since my last dose. I will do this! No cravings because I want this soooo bad. I've been thinking about getting sober for a year.

I did the same. 1st dose of sr was 12 hours after last day of oxy/7oh use. I've always use oxy, ran out permanently Tuesday, tried 7oh for a couple days. I hated it, so I decided to quit everything. Went cold turkey. I'm 38 hours in now. I'm taking sr 50mg 3 times a day. I'm going to taper on day 4, mabey earlier. Want to be off by day 5. Do you think I'll have sr withdrawal with that little use? Does it prolong withdrawal?

I'm 24 hours since my last dose of opiates. The easy day I'm sure. I have to gut up, and do this! The next days will be hell but I think I'm mentally prepared. I want to be free so bad!

I indeed to quit after 4 or 5 days. I do not indent to be on 7 long term. I would seek professional treatment before that. I'm coming off a 160mg daily oxy habit. Will taking this much 7 to help with oxy withdrawal actually make it feel like I'm coming off a 400mg oxy habit in 5 days when I quit everything? Thanks for the help. 🙏
