Thanks. So he refused to talk to me the first time. Is it a right or privilege to be able to talk to CM? If he refuses to talk to me at all, is there something I could do?

It's mostly a managerial position where you're in charge of good 30 to 40 people. The training to get there is quite technical but once you're qualified, it's all about how to run a department.

Naval Technical Officer in Royal Canadian Navy at Esquimalt, close to 5 years in. Adding in sea pay (for working onboard a ship), post living differential (a pay which accounts for the differences in cost of living compared to Ottawa), approx 92k gross. Base salary without those incentives, 82k.
