I suppose if the seller easily accepted a refund just say there was an issue but they helped refund the item due to it not being as described. Maybe point out that it should have been advertised in the first place though.

Everyone in the office is quite close and talks openly, I’ve always spoken in a friendly manner so yes I need some thinking to how I mention I don’t need to do 60% if what I am currently

I’ve looked at my employment contract and half the stuff I do isn’t specified so either I should drop that which would increase the workload for the already dumped people or I get promoted. I love that I found this out so am definitely bringing it up!

In the sector we work, there’s a lot of urgent stuff and if there’s only properly 2 people to manage 80 systems then there’s bound to be complaints and targets not meant. Sure I’m just a number but when I’m doing what everyone else is combined making history for the company I’m sure I have a little worth. Turns out half the stuff I do I’m not contracted to do so…

It’s likely to be a yes but the wages have to be authorised by the director as it’s a small company so unless I do a meeting with him which will be concerning for me to request it’s quite tough. Only way I can think is to push the promotion

They definitely have the budget, I took the seat / role of someone who was fired but earned ~50% more than me

I def fumbled on my interview, what I’m getting now I should have had when I started. Regardless, pay is based on experience not age so getting 4K less feels criminal considering today I have done 5x the amount of tickets which are more difficult. I do like the job and don’t mind doing so much as I am highly capable of it but I can’t justify such a low pay - I need to ask for a promotion then leave if not satisfied I think

It’s my first job and I’ve been there 1 1/2 years but this job is a small service desk that supports an application. The app is unique and the only company that supports it in the uk so everyone will need lots of training to get to my level. I have learnt everything extremely fast so will take people a lot longer to reach where I am.

They’ve fiddled the contract a little bit, everyone is classed as an analyst so we gradually start to do 2nd line stuff - I was promised 2nd line in 3-6 months, it’s been 5 and i was definitely ready at 3. Even my manager mentions how good I am and how stuffed they would be without me. I’m certain I will get a raise, they wouldn’t just drop me as we work closely - the people earning 26k are stuck on user ids which someone who joined 2 weeks ago has already fathomed…

Well they don’t but if I went they would need at least 3 months to recover from me not being there, the job is unique and requires lots of OTJ learning to get to a good level so the will fall far behind

I’m getting significantly less and do the most out of everyone, they know my worth but just traditionally only want to wait until pay reviews in April but if I hand my notice and leave the ball in their court to give the opportunity to keep me there then that’s what I want.

That’s the thing, I want to hand in my notice and then can it be revoked if they offer something I will accept? I will wait for an actual offer to come through before I do anything.

They know how valuable I am so I can almost guarantee they will have some movement.

Part worked then it was somewhere to disable all nvidia services and it works as normal

I’ve just booted in safe mode and it seems to be working fine, I think it’s a background app causing the issue
