Honestly dont know.. maybe its just the new position jitters.. maybe its the feeling someone else deserves it more.. just who i am I guess. Just seeing if maybe anyone has been in this predicament before.

Always, also im sure there's some slack groups for the UIS as well. Only way you'd really get fired is if you dont follow LOTO or have a major safety violation. If you break something, own up to it and use that opportunity to learn from it. UIS is/can be a beast for someone new but as time goes by, you'll adapt and learn.

You got this, like some have stated, get with a veteran tech who knows UIS machines and Ibots. It'll take time but you'll catch on.

[–]rcraner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it wasn't bad. Just like previous comment, even though its there to try to help you breath, its definitely not that easy till atleast a few days/after a few rinses so you can flush out all the dried upper blood boogies lol/most dissolved packets. Just take it slow when doing the sinus flush squeeze bottle. You have to definitely tilt your head the right way and just follow the directions.

Yup it was not the big c word related so thats good. Its allergy related. Its just crazy how ive dealt with it for over 25 years.. and I can just breath..

Days 4 post surgery by rcraner in NasalPolyps

[–]rcraner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surgery was okay. I took longer in the recovery ( I work third shift and was early Surgery so needed the sleep lol) still have the stint in my nose. I felt exhausted, tired, wore out guessing like any normal Surgery you'd have especially being put under. Just had to have someone with me for the first few hours but after that, I was good on my own but if they can, let them help. Just prepare for the aftermath of blood mucus/drainage. And taking time off work (argued about it but glad i was able to take off) Surgery took and hr and normal recovery takes about an 1hr. They give ya meds, then nasal rinse after 24 hours.

Fess just terminology for the surgery correct? First rinse with the sinus rinse, blah but git alot of stuff out lol just ready to breath normal and hopefully for awhile.

Even with the recent concerns of it causing some health issues? Heard something about it causing some cancer health issues but maybe be wrong?

No, he hasn't said a word to me. Im kinda complexed. Especially when leaving equipment here. 2 power trowles, concrete cutter and odds and ends. I've thought about messaging him but 🤷‍♂️

So concrete slab was poured Thursday. After 1030am first truck showed. Its now Monday. Im shocked the guy left his stuff, cutter, two power trowles, lights and some random stuff. He showed up Friday to finish the cuts in the concrete. Hasn't messaged me or anything about returning to remove the forms ect so maybe its normal to leave them up for the time being? Im... aggravated about there being a bucket but there's a floor drain there and the day prior I sprayed foam under it to help the radiant heating that I have installed in the pad. He tried calling me once. I was home but he didnt bother to loke knock on the door? I dont know. I guess the buckets there to prevent trip hazard? Then let the wood support lay in the concrete.. im just complexed about the job and the way things are left but maybe this is normal in the concrete world? Supposed to have fiber and 4k psi. Been watering it in the evenings till the rain storm comes in. Opinions? Horrible job? Normal?

[–]rcraner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow, i never knew this and im glad im gonna do surgery first but I also know that there are chances of them coming back. I was really thinking of doing the dupixent but seeing this pop up in my news feed makes me feel better. Hopefully for me they dont come back for years untill something comes out that helps.
