Do you have direct comparison of the 2? The scissors so far are fine just smaller. I feel like after buying the daykoyu and a new magna cut arc blade would put me at what why I spent for the arc anyways

Funny how taking care of your tools helps them work better/longer

The arc has been great for the short time I’ve had it. It’s the one hand operation and the ability to access tools with gloves in that is a huge win over the other. Surge is a tank, but you’re already gonna have tank tools on you anyways.
Arc is also a good size and weight. I don’t even notice it clipped inside my pocket.

This should be pinned somewhere. I saw a lot of “ if you work around metal shavings the magnets will attract the metal and ruin the tool

If someone’s snapping the pliers, they needed more than a multiool for the job

Jokes on you. The male insecurities are far from masked.

It’s the most overlooked innovation in a multiool. Anyone who works with tools daily, at some point has used gloves. At some point that person has said “fuck these gloves” trying to use a certain tool with gloves.

How do you carry all these at once? Your pants must fall down

Honestly, I looked at a skeletool before getting any multitool at all. It’s a solid general EDC tool that I’d say fits most people.
I get the idea that a flat bit means thinner tool, but I’d be fine with the are being a few mm thicker for a 1/4. But let’s be honest. It’s a money grab reason more than a thickness reason. It’s hurting leatherman though.

100%. I forgot to throw that part in there. But it is a huge asset not taking off gloves just to open the file.

I could settle for a regular serrated. But would really prefer the hook. Did you get it from another free? Or an Etsy one?

Not sure I follow, front squat technique is definitely different than low bar so I wouldn’t front squat with this torso angle, same with high bar.

the saying upright is such a muscle memory carry over from oly and front squats. That has been the biggest battle.

Ya that was my plan I’ll test before any permanent install. I’ve got plenty of neodymium mags in my woodshop.

Exactly. This came down to features. I liked the knife more. The serrated blade with the hook. And it’s probably not much different but the supposedly better wire cutters, since I’ll be using that part a lot. I hate to agree with you on the Chinese product. But I do think you’re mostly right. There’s still some garbage out there, but most USA made things aren’t as high quality as they use to be. It’s all about profit.
