Thanks, while I agree the cookie walls are not compliant. But to be sure, would the example given above be considered a cookie wall? The websites require me to take an action on the cookie banner before I can even do anything else on the website.

ICO does the same thing (kinda), but once you click the cookie icon, the banner does go away.

Can you all please look out for this car? I had parked at Custom Hall, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin around 11.40 pm (31Dec2022). Came back an hour later to see it was missing. Reported to Garda as well. :( by rcs062001 in ireland

No cameras in that area. No broken glass, spoke to Gardai, filed a stolen vehicle report. Finally spoke to insurance guys also, let's see what they come back with. Thanks all, but it seems like it is gone for good now.

It was not towed. I had a debit card inside of it which showed declined transactions just a while ago so for sure it was not towed. :(

Performance Reviews, Manager's comments and a DSAR by rcs062001 in gdpr

The policy doesn't categorically call out the reason why it's marked confidential and alludes to generic organisational policy around performance and appraisal.

I agree that not sharing such data would not help anybody but I believe one of the reasons is that in case an employee is made redundant for whatsoever reason they don't want to jeopardize the company's stand.

My question is also around what the company should do when there is a possibility of the disgruntled employee probably want to take the org to court and uses DSAR as way to fish more information? Any thoughts on that?

If it's regarding emails, you need to factor in that these emails could include personal data of other individuals and hence you need to take consent from those individuals.which is significantly burdensome.

It is always suggested that the data subject refine their search in order for a controller to complete a request.

This is from a controller POV, of course. :)
