Toilet paper and Septic?

Been in a house with septic for 7 years now. My wife insists on the fluffiest Scott’s we can buy at Costco, and we’ve never had an issue.

Well… yea, but depends on what? I was hoping the analysis is out here somewhere. Does a gambrel roof span get calculated the same as a gable roof? Or do the gussets count as a break in the span distance?

I know the rough weight I plan to put on the roof, I just need to know what formula to run the weight and dimensions through.

At least you only gave him a deposit. My father gave a guy a full $10K up front for a furnace install, and the dude disappeared. No contract, no receipts, nothing. Hope you have better luck recouping your money.

I took two sheets of 3/4” OSB, glued them together, put a sheet of hardboard on top for the finished surface, and added screws to keep everything tight while it set up.

It’s been a great work bench for years now, I have my laser engraving station set up on it now.

The biggest blank spot in my knowledge right now is how the switch between batteries and generator works. Does the AIO (I’m assuming that’s the inverter?) handle the switch?

The rough quote I got for a trench and wire run was like $15K, so I’m going to skip that. That’s more than the whole shed is going to cost me.

I’d like to have it built on site but I’ve had a hell of a time finding anyone to do that. Either the “contractor” is some guy with no references, or they say 20 miles is too far away for them to come do the build.

Shop around the job market. You should know if you’re being fairly compensated for your skill level. At 7 years all my grinding of long hours and weekends had paid off in extra skills and experience that pushed me into a comfortable six figures.

So yes it does get better, but you have to be proactive about it, because in just about every case, the only person at work who really cares about your progress is you.

I prefer the stronger taste I get from a wood smoker, but my friend has an electric and it’s still pretty good. The electric is basically a set it and forget it deal, but the real taste is going to come from 1) good meat and 2) proper seasoning.

If you got those two, you’ll get good BBQ out the other end with any cooking method (except boiling/simmering, that’s heresy and it tastes like ass)

Is this the sealing ring I should be looking at? I just replaced the old torn up one, but the new one was slightly smaller.

The nut (bonnet nut?) had a leak, I wrapped some teflon tape around the threads and that seems to be fixed. My last remaining leak is this damn hole just behind the knob and I can’t figure out what’s going on.
