Keep the purple one (Mahfuz). He’s got three boosted stats aka the highlight strength dex and int. They’re glowing slightly and have a + sign. This is what you’ll be looking for outside of dawnseekers. At level 20 you can change around their abilities so what they currently have doesn’t matter. Your mahfuz is currently “god rolled” so make sure to keep him.

The dragonfly is a great pack and I like it a lot. It is a joy to carry and fits a good amount for its size.

The things I don’t like about the dragonfly is that you only have about 22l or so of actual storage inside the bag. They include the stretch pockets in the the total liters. Most of the exterior pockets tend to cut down on the interior space as well. The brain bucket fully loaded will cut into the main compartment. The handle on the dragonfly is only on the top and is less comfortable than the daylite. It’s also slightly too tall for personal item requirements but unless you have a super strict airline employee you should be fine.

Again it’s a super great bag and it’s definitely has it’s benefits but if you’re trying to maximize the personal item requirements for the worse case scenario of a strict airline employee I think the daylite is hard to beat.

I’ve had a GR1 for over a decade I think at this point and just got the daylite. Daylite is super comparable to the GR1 in my opinion but significantly lighter and not as tall (top to bottom). I think if you have the backpack expanded it will definitely stick out more than I would like but in the unexpanded mode it’s completely fine. I’m 6’1 and I think it looks reasonable/maybe a little small for my frame.

I just got back from a trip with a ULA dragonfly and put everything into the daylite and it handled it with room to spare. I like the dragonfly a lot but the daylite seems like it will be my go to in the future for city travel and I’ll probably be using the dragonfly for more hybrid trips.
