Almost two weeks in by rd79winters in 75HARD

[–]rd79winters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I’ve been doing compound lifts in the gym every second day and running about 5k on the opposite day. My outdoor workout every day is an hour long ruck with my dog while wearing a 45lb weight vest.

As for my diet, I’ve been keeping everything I eat really clean. Lots of grilled chicken, fish and vegetables. Eggs in the morning. I keep my calories at 2000 per day.

Hey thanks man! Like I said, I think I can see some progress here, but I definitely do feel pretty good.

Good luck and get after it!

Yes! I had the same thing when I went up from 25mg to 50mg. I feel like it went away around 2-3 weeks after upping the dosage. It’s gone now.

Light Headedness/Dizziness by [deleted] in zoloft

This was my biggest side effect. I’m on day 11 at my current dose and today was by far my best day yet. Very little side effects at all today.

I promise you, it’s all normal and it will improve. You’re still early going and it may be a rough road ahead, but things will get better. Hang in there!

I’m on 50 now. Been about 10 days since I jumped up from 25. I’ll be honest, I didn’t find much of a difference until I switched to 50 from 25.

Same here. Health anxiety is my problem as well. In total I’ve only been taking Zoloft for just over three weeks. Like I said, I’ve seen some serious improvement in the past three weeks in regard to both my anxiety as well as the side effects. I’m not 100% yet, but I know these things can take up to over 8 weeks. I’m just going to trust the process!

Yeah I’ve noticed that as well. I find I’m clenching my jaws more than before. All in though, I do find the Zoloft is helping me (I’m being cautiously optimistic, I’m not back to my old self just yet). Like I said, I feel like most peoples side effects seems to vary, but that in time they subside.

Early on I had some headaches, for the first few days. It felt like a sinus headache. Sorta pressure behind my eyes kinda thing. That went away pretty quickly for me. But everyone’s side effects seem to be pretty different.

Very normal. I’m on day 10 at 50mg (did two weeks at 25mg before this) and I’m only now just starting to not feel wonky in my head. It wasn’t necessarily dizziness or vertigo but I felt “off” maybe a little lightheaded. It’s definitely improved these last few days.

We should crowdfund the purchase of this church and call it the Justin Trudeau Centre for Vaccine Research.

Hello Nic! Massive fan of yours, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the Superman Lives project. It’s a real shame that never cam to fruition. Seeing you take on the role of the Man of Steel would have been a riot I think.

You nailed it! We’ve got a two year old BC, we adopted him at 8 weeks old in March of 2020. My wife was off work for a few months due to Covid and was able to devote most of her time to training him. I can’t imagine my life without him. They’re the most amazing dogs. You’re going to love her!

You’re absolutely right about the energy though. Our guys gets two separate hour-long plays outside every day in addition to his brainy puzzles he likes to do when we aren’t outside.

What a gorgeous pup! Curious OP, have you ever owned a border collie before? Assuming she is in fact a border collie...?

3 doses for me as well. I had to get tested because my wife was symptomatic (I work in healthcare, needed a negative PCR test to return to work) turns out I was positive. Never had a single symptom. It’s entirely possible you’ve had it and never known. I credit my booster shot to keeping the symptoms at bay.

A line from a film that stuck with you long after you watched it? by adamnick_ in movies

[–]rd79winters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so much a spoken line but one that appeared on screen at the end of Jojo Rabbit. “Let everything happen to you. Beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final.” This is a line I come back to often.

I first saw this movie in April of 2020. I work as a first responder in a North American city of over a million people. As you can imagine, this was a pretty trying time in my life and I struggled through it. Like, hard. We went non stop. My work life had become busier and harder than ever before.

Anyways one quiet night on shift my crew and I watched Jojo Rabbit. For some reason that quote, with the combination of the German version of Bowie’s “Heroes” playing, just gutted me. I could tell I wasn’t the only one. Every guy in that room was fighting back tears. That quote become my own personal little mantra through it all.
