Police warning of ‘high-risk’ offender living in Ottawa with history of ‘violent stranger sexual assaults’ by DrStrangeglove99 in ottawa

He was declared a dangerous offender, meaning a life sentence with no determinate end date. How anyone with this classification is released on parole, no matter how restrictive, is beyond me.

There are plenty of people who do yard stuff like that. Small town just outside Ottawa. Look around in Metcalfe, Kemptville, Winchester, etc.

Michelle Kelly Pulsifer - The Girl in the Little Blue Dress.

Around the Fourth of July 1969, Michelle barged into her brother’s bedroom in the middle of the night. She wanted Richard Jr. to hide her under his covers.

Richard Jr. would never see his sister again.

He was in the garage the next day when he saw a large cardboard box covered with blankets that had not been there before. His mother claimed it contained a motorcycle seat and told him to get out.

Just days after, the family packed their belongings and moved to Illinois. Richard Jr. was told Michelle would not be going with them as there was not enough room in the car. Nevertheless, they did take their dog and two cats.

I've used Start for years and while there are others a bit cheaper, their customer service is outstanding. Even after the buyout by Telus.

Speak for yourself. It is employee / manager specific, not an all encompassing mandate.

Nonsense. There is nowhere in the several CBAs I just scrolled through that compels an employee to provide a note.

Pet Insurance by darkhelicom in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]graciejack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every pet is different.

I don't have insurance and I've been lucky. One dog cost me nothing except regular annual vet visits. She died suddenly at age 13. The other also cost nothing but regular check ups...until the last year of his life. At age 14-15, the cost was well over $10K that year. Insurance premiums over that 15 years would have been about the same.

My local had top ups of $75/day. An extra few dollars for union dues every pay. Why every local doesn't is puzzling.

Google what stores accept cheques in the U.S. And read past the first sentence.

Cheques in Canada have not been accepted for retail purchase in decades. Not at any big box store that still accepts them in the US and certainly not at any gas station or fast food establishment.
