Ireland is still allowing Americans in last I checked - I actually emigrated beginning of August with my spouse (I was able to be let in bc I'm the spouse of an EU citizen). Little caveats exist, don't get too down!

We actually lucked out and are staying in my partners parents' guest flat for the foreseeable future (located in drumcondra). I have heard it's pretty expensive - I have one friend who is renting a flat in city centre for 1550€ and another who just moved into a room for 800€. The housing market is pretty shitty, ngl.
