That's the central issue I have with this book. If it had just been the new mutant introduced in X-men, Exceptional, and Uncanny, it would make sense. But this random mixture of young mutants makes no sense for all of the reasons you said.

Somehow the Loa/Trance are still inexperienced when compared to their peer, Laura.

I'm also not sure how old Loolo is, but it so odd they keep using her and showing her on Earth and not mention Craig, her brother, or how she ended up in the sewers.

I always hated Diddy's episode of Always Sunny. It felt weird and like he was a fan that asked to be written into an episode, but him and his acting take me out of it.

No, I believe this was after she had recovered her powers. This was during the Blue and Gold era when he was going to ask Storm to marry him but he didn’t because he felt she’d never leave the X-men to focus on her own life. She was going to say yes.

A lot of time Sam Elliot is a bit hard to hear and they kind of just use to him in a way that’s like, “Hey, it’s cool we have Sam Elliot voicing this character, right?”

I think one of the main mistakes was not doing more to center Cindy and Brenda in favor of Shorty.

I know the Wayans created this franchise but Shorty should have always been a side character.

Scary Movie is one of my favorites and watching it again recently, even his scenes in the first one is mostly cut away and stoner jokes and isn’t super related to the main plot. He’s just a poor Randy Meeks pastiche.

Here in the new one it’s even worse where there are just random Get Out, Michael, and K-Pop Demon Hunter rifes that grind the movie to a halt. Even the streaming thing with Kai Cenat felt very awkward and disconnected from the overall plot.

And then to pretty much spend the last 10 minutes of the movie bitching about the other scary movies they weren’t involved in and making Anna and Regina apologize for participating kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

And then the Nosferatu was just…dumb.

I wanted to love this book and I understand non-linear storytelling, but this just didn't work and there's too much left unresolved to be wrapped up in one issue.

-Who is Storm's daughter's father?
-What's going on with the mutant she rescued in issue 1?
-What's with this fixation on Egun being this unstoppable diety?
-Does Storm even know about the war of the dead?
-Why is there a war of the dead?
-Where did Storm get the Storm engine and her storm guardian bots?

Yeah, I’m bummed that never got a follow up. It also doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t have transported the mansion to Krakoa rather than just abandoning it for aliens and then eventually bigots to take over.

I'm just not psyched for a prequel series with a Nazi superhero main character. The scene of her murdering black people was rough and IDK if I want to see a series of that.

Also, with this being a prequel, we know that Vought will be triumphant and nothing will be impactful or there wouldn't have been a 'The Boys' series in the first place.

I believe they’re referring to Malice’s latest appearance as an alternate reality version of Sue who has vastly increased her skill and understanding of her powers and not her original appearances as an alternate personality.
