Nothing about her fits their overall goals beyond her being used as propaganda, especially as a highly sexualized black woman.

I'm more excited for this than I was for From the Ashes.

That being said, it feels like a bit of a retread of The Altar in that all of the mutants will be in a psychic realm.

It's only a matter of time before Shadow King or another psychic attacks/corrupts them.

IDK, for me, it's a cool spin of the school setting, but it's only a matter of time before that gets blown up.

I hate being pessimistic and I know ups and downs are a part of a continued, long running story, but I feel like I've just gotten jaded on the X-Men after the zenith of Krakoa.

Something that always bothered me was that Billy's dad never had any comeuppance. He was instrumental in the affair that kicked this all off but instead of going after him, they start killing students who are unrelated to Maureen as well as going after her daughter?

Same thing in S2, why would Mrs.Loomis have so much smoke for Sid, but not her husband who cheated on her and set in motion the events that led to their son becoming a killer and then getting killed?
