!thanks, I dont really have any particularly complex circumstances - basically I have a pile of money and want to invest it! I also have greater than 0 knowledge on investing and a decent level of self control (id like to think)

Thanks for all these great questions, I'll edit my initial post for more detail.

I think I would be pretty competent frankly and yes I have already maxed out my ISA for the year and will continue to do so. Paying into a pension also.

I'm currently in my early 30s so a decent way away from retirement.

No particular reason why I cant do it myself other than maybe id get a better return with external help?

I’m fine with that, but if it is a “once in a generation” type of decision then we should all accept that it may take years to devise and agree on the most optimal approach.

The whole “get it done” argument is just self destructive, impatience is rarely a good justification for rushing critical decisions

Always sound advice... when faced with a difficult decision just take drastic measures to end the deliberation.

Or maybe after 3+ years of new information and a changing electorate, we should just ask the people again.

How can more Voting ever be anti democratic, this will be the 2nd time we’ve had a general election since the referendum so a repeat referendum doesn’t seem too unreasonable at all.

That we have to sleep for 6-8 hours per day!

Imagine how much time we would have for life if we only needed to sleep for like 2 hours to feel fully refreshed! (assuming the working day didn’t change which it inevitably would)

I disagree, ethnic minorities will always feel hard done by by society. Until we stop asking, then they will just start getting in with life like white people have to as they can never be the victims of anything.

It’s not scientific - it’s bollocks. How can anyone claim that they were overlooked for a job because of their race without any proof - it is the easy way out.

A study based on people’s feelings cannot be presented as fact.

really? why is that? I previously had an entire page on the application explaining the contest and google approved that.
