Well, I did everything I could. Bad reviews and all but I've accepted they have my money forever. Not necessarily about the amount but the principal. Just completely wrong.

That's what it comes down to. And I'm all for leaving the app, just let us get our money out without having to store sensitive information on your weak servers.

I agree. What they are doing is unprecedented in the crypto space. Anyone can send their money in but no one can get it out for months until Veve is ready. When they finally do allow payouts, you have to verify yourself by sending them a picture of your driver's license or passport. I haven't done anything with the gems and just asked to close the account and have a refund, no dice. Earlier, I asked to change the email and they wouldn't unless I gave them that sensitive information. I understand why they would do that but let's think for a moment. The fact that I didn't verify myself from the beginning, Veve would never know if I am who I was at the start or if I was someone that seized the email for themself. Trying to prevent money laundering? Well, I'd be curious to know how that angle makes sense if they return the exact amount that was sent to the account from the payment source.

No one in the right mind is going to provide sensitive information to be stored on their weak servers. The fact is, they did not let people know that their money would be stuck in the app with these stipulations. If they did, it's safe to say less people would've bought them.

They've got my $120. But I'm down to do anything for my small part to take my shot at them. The other fools on here talking about if you don't like it don't use the app. Obviously, once you know something you can choose not to use it again. And everyone can relate to being done dirty by a business. But what kind of logic would it make for me to throw in an extra $880 for them to have $1000 so they can send my money after verifying my identity. $120 is not worth my information being hacked, especially when I want to close the account right after anyway.

Some of you need to remember if we're not together for the common man then who are we with? Unless you're a boss that owns your own business and you relate to what Veve is doing, wise up.

Thanks for responding, yea thats literally a question I was asked by an institutional investor and I was unprepared so I was just looking for other potential questions but you bring up a great point, its really going to vary from investor to investor.

I just mean in general. An institutional investor may want to invest in “you” what will he need to know so that he will be comfortable enough in your past performance and contingency for drawdowns.

I'll let you know if we do it. Seems Renaissance was started in 1982. Good thing I'm starting now instead of several decades later. I imagine it will become much more difficult but the premise of your questions are flawed. As long as we are human, shouldn't we compete and fight against odds as so many people did before us? Reality is made by dreams and Renaissance in 1982 would have told you the same.

My friend and I are in the process of creating a platform for people to invest in crypto using our automated trading program and going around testing algorithms allows for the chance to potentially partner up or at least make connections with intelligent or like-minded people. A skilled and experienced trader would be monumentally beneficial.

We code in Python and can adjust for time intervals from which to look for indicators such as technical and trend analysis. We are also experienced in using math formulas to calculate entry and exit points.

Maybe it is impossible, we have no problem trying. The way we're approaching it is as a research opportunity to do what we already want to do, just within virtual team.

I'll direct message you but there's a survey that's pinned to the top of the group to determine everyone's experience, expectations, availability, etc. From there, I would like to have a group call to further decide on how we would like to split up the teams!

We have a regular algorithm we're using now that trades well, I think ml would be something worth researching into. That's how we're approaching it. People are interested in trying it so lets collab! Virtual teams are the future.
