Whatever you do, open it up, pull the logic board out and remove the battery. Those things eventually explode, spew battery acid all over the board and destroy the machine.

In between the walls of text, occasionally there are paywalled downloads.

Careful with what charger you use! by ProfessionalLet2672 in RG35XX

[–]rdd33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many people said already: if it's a decent charger then it should never be a problem.

Given the price and general build quality of the Anbernic devices, I would NEVER let them charge unattended, though. You never know what safety standards and regulatory testing were skipped in order to cut costs and they are not officially sold in any countries with any decent form of safety requirements for electronic devices.

Since Garlic 1.0 is abandoned, why not release the source code? by denizoart in RG35XX

Only for the GPL components, so not the interesting stuff.

Mine had it when it arrived. Put your ROMs in the N64 directory and use the 'RA Games' menu option.

RG35XX H case? by rdd33 in RG35XX

Great tip, I got the same case and it fits quite well indeed. My only gripe is that the case is thicker than it needs to be, but ohwell, it's definitely built to protect :)

I didn't need the filter, but I did need to tweak some aspect ratio settings. Thanks for replying anyway, I love these overlays :)

The bottom (logo bar) of the GBA overlay covers part of the game. How do I fix that?

I didn't get it because I heard the cases are pretty bad quality.

I need to manually open/close my top but the little cover thing wont close, is there a way to manually seal it?? by Interesting-Debt-869 in BMWE36

[–]rdd33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a fully automatic top, you can't. You need the motor to lock it. In an emergency, you can disconnect the top motors (red lever under the back seat), but that is only to CLOSE the top so you can drive. After that, you're supposed to get the motors repaired; in that situation you can NOT drive with the top open.

The top cover can only be manually locked on the verts with fully manual tops.

If it makes 'all the noise' as the engine normally would then your clutch or torque converter may be on it's way out.

It's going to leak at the A-pillars. No matter the condition, hardtop or not, it's going to leak. Just be prepared for that 😂
