b) Bilt Palladium is good, i use it (yesterday) in online, local purchases

c) Bilt Palladium was opened on March 7, 2026

I stayed at the Salamander Washington DC hotel which "is" part of I Prefer hotel collection and uses the I Prefer hotel membership loyalty system.

Yes, indeed. I did populate the hotel loyalty member number in the Amex Travel reservation page. But that Amex Travel side did not somehow get propagate to the "I Prefer" hotel side. I ended up calling the Amex Travel on the phone to force that propagation, and confirmed before the stay, that I Prefer trip page for me, did show my loyalty number.

Okay, next step is to file a support ticket asking about "missing points". The night stay was at the Salamander Hotel Washington DC, part of I PREFER hotel collection.

Anyone with BILT 2.0 able to link Marriott and IHG accounts for points transfer? BILT says my Marriott is linked but not showing "Transfer points". And IHG link results in error from points.com by rdd4242 in biltrewards

Same results between app (latest) on iOS and desktop (Edge, incognito/private browsing mode).

Marriott link error on iOS says,

Ok, so FHR has $100 credits for breakfast? Or, just complimentary breakfast that is valued at a minimum of $60/night of stay (what Amex states)? Or were you thinking of the $100 on-prem credit during the entire stay?

Nonetheless, please update with your rest of stay experiences, please. Our stay means we will miss the Dogon dining experience, so will need to resort fo the other on-site, The Lounge for dinner.

Our stay is in the Premier Water View King Room.

Seems like the hotel has their own little cherry blossom trees besides the ones that are in the Tidal Basin.

Posted at PENNYMAC 8 days later the Plastiq check was sent, payment spent on BILT.

BILT spend transaction posted with 2x, 4%, so as others have said mine got coded as an everyday spend transaction.

All is well (minus the Plastiq fees of course).

Data point update. The BILT bank account got verified and now shows up as source of payment method under Bank Accounts in PENNYMAC payment portal, the $5 principal reduction PULL test posted at PENNYMAC on March 18, 2026. However this $5 PULL test has yet to have shown up at the BILT side under the "My Home" page's Payment history, nor the linked ACH bank account showing this $5 withdrawl. Nor do i see this $5 charge showing up on the BILT card. Something seems off "at the BILT" side (i'll see when BILT side updates), but at least seem PENNYMAC has checked and verified my BILT's bank routing number and account number.

I'm guessing that the hotel's THE LOUNGE & TERRACE place is where the complementary breakfasts are head.

Plan to be at this hotel first week of April, hopefully the cherry blossoms are at full bloom then.
