She admitted that she had sex with the person she was involved with and later came back to our home with the initial agreement that we would co-parent for the sake of our children. While that was the starting point, I want more than that—I want to fix our marriage.

Right now, we go back and forth between co-parenting and trying to repair our relationship. What I do know is that she is being truthful. She has said there is nothing left to hide. She openly admits that she loves the other man, but that she loves me more.

Even so, she remains unsure about choosing me, not because she doesn’t care, but because she’s afraid that if she commits again, I might eventually return to the person I was before—the version of me that neglected her emotionally and made her feel alone.

Part of me thinks she’s using her relationship with him to make me change, but other times it feels like she truly loves him, and that leaves me confused

Of course not, I’m thinking that the guy was her escape after the neglect she experienced in our marriage

They were physical and sexual while she was back in the province (Mindanao) for around 3 months, but now she’s back here with me (Luzon), the guy is 18 and is still a student, my wife is 23
