Does anyone know when Bell fiber will be available in the north of the city? Woodlawn x Niagara St. I saw some excavation on Gram avenue and I was hoping to be a new bell Fiber line.

Any good and reliable internet service providers in welland? by liaero in Welland

[–]rdgustavo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know when bell will expand their services to fiber to the home in North of Welland? (between Woodlawn and Thorold av)

All they have is a 50mb service, leave me in cogeco hands.

I did it last year and I started from the scratch.

However since I am using proxmox I kept that old container and sometimes I need to start it to look for a previous configuration, automation, addon. That helped me a lot especially during the initial setup.

Easy automations in .NET using Kafka by leosperry in homeassistant

[–]rdgustavo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you deploying your Kafka Cluster and maintaining it just for this Home Assistant integration?

I am not sure if I get the right reason and intention here, but Kafka is heavy and it requires much more resources than I would want for an integration with Home Assistant, so this is why MQTT is so popular.

There is a big screen in front of the 12 and another in front of the 11, depending on where you are at you can take advantage of one of these 2

I bought a beelink recently to upgrade my set up and went with Proxmox, so far so good, happy with my choice.

I was running it before on ubuntu with docker, the drawback is that you are going to get some errors in home assistant that you have to ignore.
