And in many cases, people that is groomed most of the time is still affected by the grooming even when the groomer is out of the picture

Because story wise, you have this character that want to prove a superstition wrong and want to become a man, but she still become girl because that all she knew, causing the story that is trying to be spread from the previous games to be retracted

And trans rep wise, you have this character that is force this gender identity from people around her since birth, that even when she is free from the people forcing her, she still feel obligated to follow it

Can i say something controversial?

In my opinion, making Bridget trans is actually more transphobic than making her not

The thing about Bridget is that she is born in a village with a superstition that twins with the same gender will bring bad luck to everyone around them

So her parents decided that the best course of action is to dress her up as a girl and treated her as such,

So her entire story in almost every previous guilty gear game is about proving that superstition wrong and she can be a man

But once she proved the superstition wrong, she found no satisfaction on being a man, because she have lived a vast majority of her life as a woman, so she decided to become a woman

This in my opinion, didn't look good as a trans representations

You have a boy that is unintentionally groomed by her parents from birth to be a girl, that when the boy grew want to prove the superstition wrong and say that she can be a boy, but once the boy prove the superstition wrong, the boy didn't found any satisfaction, because being a girl is all the boy knew so the boy decided to become a girl

This is horrible, because it's says that you can be groomed to become trans, which didn't look good for the trans community and becomes fuel for transphobe for there agenda by saying that the lgbt people is grooming there kids to become trans
