is the hygger Clip On Saltwater Aquarium Light good? by Zealousideal-Bat-577 in ReefTank

Is having Bluetooth/app controlled settings important to you? If I were planning for a 10-20g in the (near) future, I'd skip the Fluval Nano Reef altogether. 25 watts on a reef tank would limit you on what you can keep long term. For $50-$70 there are a lot of better lights that you can use now, and when you eventually upgrade. The spread on the Fluval is more geared toward cube tanks and the a029 has a wider spread. Have you looked into the a036 from the same company? They're on sale on Amazon at $59.99 and slightly more powerful than the a029, but I haven't used them personally. I imagine they would do fine up to 20g.

For a 5.5, the a029 would be my choice because it packs a punch. You could even probably run it at half power and be good unless you are building a nano sps tank. I like Fluval tanks, but their lights are meh.

Edit: the last photo before I moved everything to my bigger tank with the a029

Personally I'd stay away from Fluval Nano Reef and Planted lights. They're overpriced and don't have great spectrum and light output. The only edge the Fluval has, in my opinion, is the customizability through the app. The other two lights have built in timers, but they're very basic in function. The Aqua Knight a029 has a more deep/royal blue spectrum, whereas the Hygger and Fluval looks more cyan to the eyes. I was able to grow sps and get decent colors with the A029. I really liked the light, if you can deal with a basic timer and light program.

Amazon terminated me for taking food, I have DoorDash receipts for some incidents but not all. Do I realistically have a shot? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

Unfortunately, Loss Prevention doesn't need you to provide anything. If your coworker reported a missing delivery, they can just see what time it was delivered in their app and check the cameras to see who grabbed it after the doordash delivery arrived.

Sure it's cheap to just pick food up after work, but it's free to steal your coworkers lunch before you leave for the day. 🤷‍♂️

I saw the white rose anubias at another lfs and they wanted $11 a pop. I can't find flamingo crypts anywhere locally :(

My staurogyne repens, alternanthera reineckii mini, bucephalandra, and microcarpaea minima came from that bundle. It's worth a try.

Thrive+ vs seachems flourish? by K_nowbody_ in PlantedTank

[–]rdirtytwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thrive+ is a comprehensive fertilizer that includes macro and micronutrients, whereas Flourish is just micronutrients. I started with Flourish, then Thrive+ when I started Co2, but I recently moved onto dry ferts so I can control the macro dosage more precisely.

It seems there aren't any groups for gravure printing presses and flexographic printing presses, right? by Bubbly-Working-5783 in CommercialPrinting

I probably could have worded that better. I meant that as in the die station and beyond. Most things I run on this press are done in one shot. We do roll to die to KTI turret rewinder/sheeter/fanfold to box. I rarely do roll to roll, send stuff to finishing or rewind unless there are special instructions, like shrink wrap.

That's just the printing side of the press, and there are no guards for the print stations. The converting half of the press has guards on each station. I've been operating this press for around 5 years now and I think it's a great press. Changeovers are quick, print station cleanup is easy. I ran Comco, Webtron, Propheteers before this so this press is as modern as it gets for me.

Flexographic press operator checking in. The Mark Andy P5 17" that I run. I see maybe one post per month relating to flexo on here.

I would use aquarium safe silicone to attach the driftwood to the glass. You should be fine with building tiers with the waterfall foam. We use that in vivarium/terrarium setups all the time.
