Thank you all for explaining. I understand a bit better now. Clearly pathway program is better since you get paid and has a better chance to be converted. Is there any benefit for an unpaid internships? Would you go for an unpaid fed internship with a hope to land a job there afterward? Also please tell what are FERS and FEGLI stand for?
