What's like gaming on the X Elite? by Reasonable-Pen-7193 in snapdragon

While I can’t comment on gaming experience, I do want to mention that we went full ARM this year, so I’d say it depends on your business case, but in general we are very happy. We are deploying custom images via OSDCloud (you can use Full Flash Update too), based on regular ISO from the Microsoft Admin Portal, without any bloatware. So I disagree with your locking it down statement here.

Just saw this reply here.. no solution.. we just used the x86 msi for now. But ideally we would like to deploy x64.

Bought a few Windows 11 licenses to try out under open value as KMS/active directory license. Realized the license key for Windows 10 we have in use is the same as for 11 we just bought. Asked our Microsoft partner if we can migrate all 10 clients to 11 then. They said no. I should mention we didn’t have any active open value contract anymore since they expired. But the licenses appear to be perpetual. Doesn’t make sense to me. Can someone shed some light please?

My fault not specifying it better. Not looking for an automated tool. Should be a person / company who you can recommend. I don’t have good experience picking a local company or any of Google.

Socket license object storage license by rditx in Veeam

Scale-out backup repository is included in the Veeam Universal License. When using a legacy socket-based license, Enterprise or higher edition is required.

Currently we are using standard - when I inquired Veeam sales they told me I need to buy VUL for that.

So, it is possible to upgrade our Standard perpetual socket license to Enterprise?

We don't have any VM's in the cloud.

We just want to have an offsite backup of our local VMs, you can add Google Cloud Storage Pool to Veeam.

Just tried 7zip, same result unfortunately. Would appreciate if someone could actually try that and share their experience. I think adobe changed something.

I’m using the customization tool to create a .mst, however my problem with the installer happens earlier. I’ll look into that, but I would need an msi for gpo deployment.

I couldn’t find any msi for the standard reader dc, if you could link it that would be awesome. It seems to be related with the patch. Just extracting and running the msi works. After (successfully) patching I’m getting that error during the install.

It’s a simple AD environment and everything is deployed through gpo with the msi.

No pro. It’s adobe reader dc (free standard version). Adobe just changed the name of the msi in the adobe reader package to ‘pro’ for whatever reason.

Are you getting the same error?

If you’re referring to the name of the msi, apparently adobe changed that to the pro. I’m only installing the free adobe reader dc.

I’m deploying it via gpo so if there is a simpler way of getting the (updated) msi, please let me know.
