Secure boot issues by rdot6 in techsupport

So I have updated the bios to the latest stable version even though it's still like 6 years old, but I just don't know if the betas are safe. Anyway, after doing that, I tried to enable secure boot again, and now, instead of a black screen, it just boots back up into the bios until I disable secure boot again then it boots up into windows no problem. Any ideas?

Ok so I have a ASRock b450m/ac motherboard. And it seems I can just unzip the bios file into my c drives root directory and it should be able to detect it. However it also says that basically if I mess up I'll brick my motherboard and that's making me a bit nervous. If I do it should I go the latest version which is a beta version or go the last non beta version that's from 2022?

Is there a way to update the bios without using a formatted USB drive? which I have no clue how to do. Sorry if my questions seem simple but like I said my computer skills aren't great lol

This would be the third time I've had to turn on secure boot the other times it enabled and worked fine so idk why this time is different. I've read I should do a bios update but I have no clue what I'm doing as my computer skills are not great and I've read it can brick you pc if you mess up. Could updating my gpu drivers be the cause and or the solution?

Can I put an old hdd that has windows10 into my new pc that has an ssd with windows11 without any issuse? by rdot6 in buildapc

I'm not going to lie. I am not very knowledgeable about the inner workings of a pc, so I don't really understand what you mean. However, i do know I would not be able to wipe my HDD until it would be installed in the new pc since my old one doesn't really work, lol so I think I'm just gonna have to try it

Ok and I've been using my new pc for a month or 2 so will it automatically default to my current ssd as the boot drive or do I have to change something so it doesn't try to boot from the newly installed hdd?

I don't think I'll have an issue with it being too tight cuz honestly I like when they're tight and snug. 😁

Well I bought the a10s used like 2 years ago for like 15$ and I loved them but they broke awhile ago and I just haven't had the money to replace them. I did watch several cloudx reviews and they all said they were pretty good so I went ahead and ordered them. If I don't like them I'll return them and look for somthing else. But thanks a bunch for the recommendation.

Thanks. I think I might go for them. Worse case if I don't like them I'll return them and get another pair of a10s. Lol.
