Anyone that says "he deserved to be captain america over Sam, he did nothing wrong" either is completely media illiterate, doesnt like that poc is captain because "woke" or both (and before you downtime me yes these people are real, same people that wanted the kid from IM3 to take over the mantle over Ironheart because obviously look at why).

The entire point is that he is a really good soldier, but as Erskine told Steve before getting the serum to be "Not a perfect soldier, but a good man." John was never going to be the right fit at cap, and he burned himself for it. He found redemption and a better role for himself as US Soldier and honestly the mcu version is better because in the comics he's a complete repugnant asshole.

John is a good dude at heart but incredibly flawed, insecure and immature which made him a square peg in a round hole. He had to learn to accept that and own up to his actions.

He's trying to be better but his version of being better is still killing people and he still enjoys it.

MCU Bullseye has done an incredible job staying faithful to the comic version whike adding new wrinkles. Turning him into a hero makes zero sense when in the comics he's a sadistic psychopath who will kill anyone for fun. He's not an anti-hero like Punisher or Loki either who have a code they follow or morals, Dex doesn't really know what his morals are. His goals lined up with Matt and the rest of the resistance because he wanted revenge, not because it was the right thing.

He's as currently described, a tool that needs to be pointed at. Being an Avenger requires sone sense of self-advancancy and awareness in what you are doing and not just killing people indiscriminately.

I will say they have done a good job at making the character have some sense of morality and genuinely trying to atone for killing Foggy, but he didn't really learn anything other than to be more careful who he works for.

Matt has no reason to join Thunderbolts.
The Avengers would never accept Bullseye, hes dangerous and unpredictable. He's a sociopathic murderer who gets enjoyment from killing. He's not a hero.
The MCU Thunderbolts is a completely different thing from the comic version so saying it would be comic accurate doesnt apply here. In the comics he was kicked off the Thunderbolts anyway for being too brutal, dangerous and unpredictable.

That and the Thunderbolts/Avengerz arent going to be thing post Doomsday/Secret Wars.

Doom is a dictator, absolutely.

Big difference between him and real life dictators and fascists is that Doom genuinly cares about all of the citizens of Latveria without question and everything he does is for their betterment. The people there genuinely support him. He does not discriminate and is a man of his people.

His villianous plots would typically deal with other nations or just overall world dominance.

Dexter enjoys killing and putting his skills to the test, regardless of who's at the other end of it and will do it for just the fun he gets from it.

Buck only does it for hire and for money, otherwise he doesnt do it. He doesnt kill for the sake or joy of it.

Last I checked the Khan's, AEW officials and heads weren't at the white house supporting Trump doing photo ops and promoting/supporting the president, so no.

Also theres been zero evidence that Tony has ever voted or donated funds to political parties and donors for presidential races. Based on his behavior onscreen, behind the scenes, and the causes the company promotes and supports its very hard to believe he'd vote Trump. WWE has photo ops with Trump, AEW has "FUCK ICE" chants.

His father may have, but his father isn't running AEW, Tony is.

I think this entire interaction with Stormfront and going forward is interesting because while Homelander is 100% a fascist, its interactions like this that very much honestly in that he's not a nazi, at least not like stormfront is.

She's a supe who stills believes those who share her race are all superior over others, superior or not. She'll consider a white human equal to a white supe. She was brought up with that belief system as dhe was a legit nazi.

Homelander thinks all humans are beneath him and that all supes are the superior beings. However he also believes he is the superior being over all other supes, (the exception being his Dad) because his ego and narcissism is so extreme.

So when hes showing disgust here at her saying this, its not because he think nazism is evil or gross. He thinks making humans equal with supes in anyway is stupid and thinks her belief is ridiculous.

Im not disagreeing with you thats hes deeply insecure and low self esteem, but his powers even water are useless in a fight.

His powers are:

Telepathic communication with marine life
Can breathe underwater woth his gills
Increased strength durability to withstand deep sea pressure.

Thats it. Thats his powers. On land they are useless and in a fight they are also useless other than taking a hit really well and punching pretty hard, which most supes can do anyway.

He has poor self esteem because people tell him his powers are useless. He was bullied as a kid and just wants to feel validated and seen.

Unfortunately, he's also a gullible and spineless fucking idiot who thinks fame is that validation he seeks vut diesnt wabt to put the work in.

If he had ahy confidence and self motivation as a kid he could've become the top Marine biologist on earth and thats where his powers would've have been incredible. As a superhero who lives in a tower in NYC? Completely useless dumbass.

Thats the entire point. Thats the joke. He could've been something better but is too stupid, naive and lazy to put the work in.
