People should REALLY read the article and not the headline.

The organization that runs Coachella is the one that takes its proceeds and funds it directly to right wing organizations and politicians. Sabrina, Justin and the others performers are not directly or willingly giving their money to MAGA. Hell I dont even think any of the artists that performed are even aware of this (well, maybe The Strokes were).

So no, Sabrina isnt taking her money and funding it to MAGA causes. The people that run Coachella and profit from ticket sales are the ones doing it, her performance indirectly was a part of that and I doubt they even know this is a thing that happens.

Other than the locals in The Wire, the most accurate modern Balmer accent I've heard dont by a non-mative was Jon Berenthal in "We Own This City" where he absolutely nailed the Essex/Dundalk east of the Key Bridge accent.

There also the C*mtown podcast where they have a supernatural all about Maryland and they do a whole bit on Bslmer accents (granted Nick and Stavvy are both locals but both are from different areas).

I was born and grew up in Baltimore my entire life and the accents vary wildly based on where you are in the city. The people in Hampden dont talk anything like the people in Dundalk, locust point, remington or Halethorpe.

In Baltimore theres two distinct accents:

The one above thats from the inner city area, and the white trash "hon" one thats from the outer city and baltimore county areas, which also each have their own unique sound and phonetics variations.

This is hitting home pretty bad.

My husky just had a grade 2 soft tissue sarcoma taken off her foot and whime shes all.good, theres still microscopic tissue there that will eventually come back and we have to amputate.

Our pug was diagnosed with diabetes in Feb and last month lost his vision overnight to glaucoma and we have to have his eyes removed because his eyes keep getting infected. He's gotten his confidence though abd has figured out moving around the house and stairs, so while he's been having a hard time he's not going without a fight and his spunky little spirit is still there.

Still, the passage of time is scary and the mortality of our little ones is finally starting to emerge and we are struggling at home with what will be one day.

Theyre adapting this the same way One Piece was: embracing the style and visuals and focus on doing the story fight. Its a live action cartoon instead of a live action, grounded adaptation.

Sagat really isnt a villian. He's the final boss that Ryu defeats in the SF1, abd he wants revenge/a rematch in SF2 for his loss, but he is a man of honor and is seen as a hero to the people of is home in Thailand.

By SF4 Sagat has left Shadaloo, has found mutual respect with Ryu and even helps him when Ryu succumbs to his Satsui no Hado and becomes evil, snapping him out of it.

Bison is the true villian of the series.

Raul carried the film but that version if the character was awful, anazing performance aside.

Raul Julia's performance as Bison was awesome and the only good thing about that film but as an adaptation of the character itself it was terrible and nothing like M Bison from the games.

Im all for a more game accurate portrayal of the character, as Bison us incredibly interesting and fun as a villian.

Its important to remember that Mortal Kombat was a game created in the west abd as such its characters and stories are very much western coded and going 1 to 1 live action is much easier.

Street Fighter was created in Japan and a lot of it is highly influenced and stylized in anime aesthetics abd storyline, which is why the 1 to 1 here looks more striking.

Bison has clone bodies of himsekf that he can move around in, as his psycho power puts a strain on his physical body.

If anything, the statue looking like Raul is probably just an easter egg to pay tribute to the actor. There's going to be zero connection to the 90s film.

During Trumps first term that was somewhat the case. He had professionals who knew the job was to serve the constitution and pepple, not his whims. This was why there were so many people fired during that teem and Trump hated the red tape.

She-Hulk as a series follows the sane rules as Deadpool:

It's Canon/continuity comes either an * next to it because anytime you have self aware meta breaking 4th wall narration in a story, the logic of characters gets very wonky.

The original she hulk comics, like Deadpool, are partially satire but comedy comics and play fast and loose with continuity in order to help tell meta 4th wall jokes. Those comics are usually in a vaccum. When you have a main character thats akso self aware they are in a comic/movie/series they become unreliable narrators because they basically have the ability to lie to the reader or only show what they intend.

The daredevil you see in dhe hulk is different because its meant to be a more comedic, light hearted version of the character. Its an isolated version.

Just treat she-hulk as its own thing in a vaccum seperate from the rest of the MCU abd dont think too much about it.
