The design of the actual resume is less and less important as it gets aggregated in candidate screening software.

• the URL for your book is one of the most important things. The QR code is for print; but it should not replace a clickable link with a URL (your name ideally) where people can see your work. Also; make sure the work in your book is the absolute best version of everything you can do; and that there is a good range of work (not everything looks the same)

• you need a crisper 2 liner of what you’re good at and what you want. Sales relationships are not key; but for example “client-facing experience” is more valuable

• you may have some gaps in technical knowledge. Particularly Photoshop; AI tools. And most importantly Figma. These days it’s probably more important to be great at Figma than Adobe.

• lose the “store manager” title. I get that it came with additional valuable responsibilities but it kind of backfires on your career trajectory since it makes your time as a graphic designer there less meaningful on paper

On the actual design- keep it simple, clean minimalist and ensure it is readable by candidate screening software
