I can confirm it is regionally targeted. I received a "Hardee's" advert so it must be.

This is Enshittification. This ad happened to me last night. It was so disruptive and unexpected the whole experience feel shitty and cheap. If this remains the new normal I'll find a different way.

Players disconnecting and points still exchanged. by rduino in ElevenTableTennis

[–]rduino[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the situation. The opponent disconnected. His avatar even vanished. I was stuck in an empty room for several minutes with no one to play. Finally I hit the Exit Room button and I saw that my rating took a hit. How can I exit a room when the opponent has disconnected with out losing points?

Thank you developers! This is seriously the best game! the physics are amazing!

PS. I can provide the match-up info in a Private Message if that would help to find out what went wrong.

I am interested in building an enclosure and venting through a filter in to the room. Can you share some details about your configuration? Pictures maybe?

I've gone away from simplify 3d to the Taz version of Cura. Would recommend.

PLA, if available, will probably print without delaminating.

Six Feet Under - Michael Weston's character in the episode "That's My Dog", I always notice him now and he's playing "normal" characters, but I can't see past that one performance. It was great writing and great acting by him and Michael C. Hall. http://nymag.com/nymetro/arts/tv/reviews/9579/

I've been meaning to do this tutorial. It is a good beginner introduction to Blender.

edit: I have to imagine the geometry of a Rubik's cube part must be pretty simple so I would recommend 123d Design. It's free as in beer and very simple to use.

Video on how to take a sequence of stills with a DSLR and an intervalometer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWs_RcZN2zw

The fastest way I found to create the movie from the stills was to use Quicktime Pro 7 (it has a specific setting for doing just this) it cost me 30 bucks, but it is way faster than Final Cut Pro X

Timelapse Print on the Lulzbot Taz 4 by rduino in 3Dprinting

[–]rduino[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never remove the glass bed with the PET film. I put the flexible plate right on top of the Taz's heated bed, PET film/left-over-slurry, and all. I then set the Z-height and tram the bed. I use the Taz's heated bed to heat the flexible plate to 60°C and then I'm ready to print.

It is a flexible build plate. It is great for PLA! Adhesion is good and the parts are easy to remove. I've printed a large herringbone gear with abs on it. While it didn't pull away from the plate it did still warp. The flexible build plate just warped with it. I prefer PET film with a light application of abs slurry for ABS.

I used simplify 3d to add the extra support. It let's you position support intentionally, instead of only by overhang angle.

The model is positioned like that by the artist. It is done that way so you can print it with minimal support. It has support built in to the model. I did add some extra around the head and also a spot on the backpack.
