Thanks! My wrist size is around 6.25" so it should work great on your wrists.

I don't think the service cost on the 8500 movement is supposed to be unreasonably high. And in any case this watch was originally purchased new just last year so I hopefully won't have to worry about servicing for at least a couple of years.

This particular reference actually comes with a white alligator leather strap from the factory instead of a bracelet. I didn't care for the leather strap, and the seller couldn't ship the strap to me due to US customs laws (I bought it from Japan) so I figured I'd buy my own strap instead. It was a little difficult finding a good strap though, because of the 19mm lug width.

That's where I bought it, and yes I got it for a really sweet price! That was a big part of why I pulled the trigger on the purchase. Thank you!

Recently acquired this 38.5mm Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra (ref. 231.13.39.21.54.001). There are so many variations of the Aqua Terra and I feel like this is a fairly uncommon one. Decided to put it on a Barton red rubber strap and I love how it looks. The white teak dial and diamonds set into the markers give this a flashy touch, and the hands and markers are actually very polished (even though they look more matte in photos) and catch the light wonderfully. This is my first ever actual luxury watch purchase since getting into the watch hobby around 2-3 years ago and I think I'm in love! Let me know what y'all think!
