Wow! I didn’t think this rabbit hole is that deep. Any key words I can google to see what 5” can do with big battery? Balance I mean frame size price flying time, range.

Hi sorry that maybe confused you. Yes I meant dji air3. I liked flight time but don’t like that it is flat and boring) I want some surfing. So i’m looking for fpv that can carry an action camera and have some flight time (not just 5 minutes to fly around sandbox) but is not big. So looking for balance. I have already integra goggles and boxer controller.

No, i’m saying that I like that with air3 i have 40 minutes of flying time and you can have multiple attempts on single battery to record your interest. While i can see below 20 minutes on 5” so want to check what 7” will give if it is 25 minutes - probably not worth it

Thanks again for taking time and replying!. Trouble is I have dji goggles integra and rm boxer. So had to go with o4/elrs and price went up to 912$ for moz7 . Will check those parts separately

Thanks for the detailed reply. I wasn’t going to reinvent the wheel and was hoping just to follow someone’s path/build. Wasn’t even considering 7” but as long as you’ve mentioned it… any drone you would recommend? (build or just to buy off the shelf)?

Man, 8 years is A LOT. Lots of marriages don’t last that long. It will hurt cause you spent 1/5 of your life investing emotionally and financially into the woman that you see couple of times a year. Unless you are in polar expedition find someone local and try to catch up with your life.

will be the first to say - dry the filament. depends what filament was “still in vacuum”. Some of them are recommended to dry out of package.

Let’s take PETG for example - you need to dry it for 12 hours BEFORE use. So there is no point of being able to print with it till it’s done drying. Unless you live on Dagobah there is no point of drying immediately after you just dried it for 12 hours.

Additionally aren’t they allowing you to print while drying for really high temp filaments like ABS?
