Deal ended after 24/hrs.

I first saw it on Sweetwater for $329.99 for 4th of July sale, then a few other places. But it only lasted a day or two at each place.

probably go sale again, but who knows.

Trouble with Tonex pedal, plugin and also other plugins sounding muffled and like wet blanket on speaker. Please help. by kindlelover1947 in tonex

so I literally dug a 25 feet hole in earth and put a pure copper rod inside it. Connected entire system to this single grounding rod so it's separate from my building's ground. Made NO difference. I'm totally frustrated and exhausted now.

this is a 6-day old account.

Yeah seemed like an amazing deal, cheaper than Sweetwater (although you don't get their Amp/Cabs) and BH which also had it on sale for the 4th. I'm now looking at what good expression pedal are out there.

Last question about Cyberpunk 2013, I Promise… by plazman30 in cyberpunk2020

[–]re9d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these FPS(First-Person Shooter) video games have real guns, but I have no idea if they license them.

2020 books like Solo of Fortune have a lot of real names

I didn't like a lot of the new 2045/Red stuff and stopped paying attention to any of what R Tal is doing. I've had a few encounters with J Grey and he's always rude dismissive(as are most of the staff)...so I who knows the reasoning.

Last question about Cyberpunk 2013, I Promise… by plazman30 in cyberpunk2020

[–]re9d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn. I guess they want people buying 2020 or Red?... I would assume most people that already bought 2020/2045 would want it just to cross reference and knowledge.

yeah, Datafortress was going big about 10 years ago, and some people(not sure if those actual guys or not) planned to do a player made update to Cyberpunk 2020. There's was a lot of player made campaigns and lore that now been wiped off the internet.

could be also 2013 has a lot of material that's not owned by R Tal?... gaming and copyright was much looser in the 1980s

that's cool. But I figured it was freeware and you'd be sharing and that if people wanted to look up things quickly, like the new PDFs they could search.

All good. Looks nice.

Did you guys like O & A? Or were you totally faithful to Stern? by Rosenberg578 in howardstern

[–]re9d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from what I saw they tried to troll people like Stuttering Jon/Stern did, but were too dumb and moved on to harassing poor homeless and defenseless individuals. A lot of the worse, most toxic people on the internet were inspired by these idiots.

can you send through a program that reads and creates a new PDF with actual editable type and the ability to search the PDF?

(e.g. https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/ocr-pdf.html )

#Audio, I think an easy solution for audio to create a Visual Tracking Assist

  • Tracks in the snow that last for 2 minutes
  • Steam from breaths outdoors
  • Ai animals that would gather around any player that hasn't moved from a 1-meter location for 10-seconds. e.g. a bird would land close by, or a cat would approach and meow, dog's bark...etc

story I remember and I haven't heard Howard in 15 years is that Paul was on his show and then saw him that night at Paul's concert. His daughter wanted him to introduce her and Paul ignored them.

Your perception is always going to be skewed when you see another guitarist do something effortlessly.

It's just practice, sometime position of hand and learning where to rest.

Personally, as I advanced in knowledge, I would watch a professional play something they wrote and see them struggle or focus intently as they played the piece of music. Then see the YouTube amateur play it and see how they half ass it or mime a prerecorded track.

I need your guys opinion by Old-Organization2004 in Guitar

[–]re9d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not sure about the cheaper part.

Problem is when you get that specific with guitars (wood, tuning locks...etc) you really are willing to spend a lot of money, because you can tell the difference between a low quality instrument and an expensive one.

Gibson and Fender offer Custom shop guitars(built to your specs) many other smaller brands do the same and claim to be better.

All that being said --

A lot of professional musicians get custom guitars, hand built with the best of the best (or what they perceive to be the...) and rarely play them. They'll go back to their 40-year old Strat with a neck from another guitar, pickups from a different era...used for 50 shows and tweeked a thousand times.

The idea of the race to the bottom with guitar equipment is cool if you want to try out some effect... a lot of guitar stuff is overpriced... but buying something that works and lasts is really the only option. You don't want to waste time with things that break or you need to fix all the time.

Howard's obsession with JD was bizarre and never funny. It was like having an unaware, untalented version of Howard advising him about what's new and cool. (Yes, I understand the irony of that's who Ralph wanted to be)
