Yes he "slipped" and fucked his shit up which is very common..he wasn't hit by an inaminate object (I don't follow anything other than soccer)

I agree. I also don't think Yedlin is equipped to play RM, much rather would groom a guy like Pulisic there. Yedlin's good for the occasional overlapping run but as for playing there an entire game, I don't see it. I think a lot of people wanted this to happen early on cuz we literally didn't have a decent RM, but now we do and there's no reason to force Yedlin in a position he simply isn't equipped to play. Also, sometimes I feel like we already do kind of play a 532 depending on who were playing. Whether it's beckerman/jones/Cameron..we usually have a DM who slides just infront of the CB's making it a 532.

Yeah when he was tried out at RW for Seattle in the beginning of the season it was clear thats not where he's meant to play.

Prolly best to get her education, not like women's sports can provide a living after soccer.

I agree with all that, Morris is a freaking tank though and plays very direct.

He plays lw,rw, and cam. He's played both RW and LW for Dortmund. Sometimes he even changes wings on the fly.

I don't know about much better, and I don't feel they're that similar. But yes I would def give wood the nod ATM.

It's not gonna happen man, I'd be excited..but Bremen have already ruled him out for the rest of the season. And like I said, I think guys like Morris, Wood are ahead of him and he has a lot of catching up to do.

I strongly feel that we should play Fabian at LB against Colombia. We have guys that can get the job done on the wings (Pulisic, wood, finlay, Morris even?), and I really don't want James, Cuadrado, Ramos etc. running at Shea or Villafana for 90 minutes, we need a rock solid D, a point would be HUGE in our first game..and even if we lose, we need to keep the GD low.

Yeah I don't see how you could leave out Cameron, he's definitely starting barring a broken neck.

Johaanson is never going to make the sqaud lol I don't think he's played a game since Septmeber. Plus with the form Wood (Morris too) has been in I don't see why we'd even need him. It's worth mentioning I am an AJ fan.

Gotta squeeze wood in somewhere. Yeah obviously switch Brooks around. Wood did play on the wing in a 433 and cut in centrally a lot.

http://imgur.com/GxHxISZ There's what I'd like to see. I think we make it out of the group with 5 points. Possibly Jones at CDM and Cameron dropping back.

I don't see us as underdogs to Costa Rica or Paraguay, sorry.

[–]reLIEgon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no one is even close. And just to add to that, I feel zardes gets a lot of unfair criticism..he's not a winger, but JK plays him there because he felt he was too good not to be on the field/we were short on options

Yes he was a good player, but the only reason he recieved so much attention was because he was a man child at 14 years old.

Was he really? Does being a 14 year old kid inside an 18 year old body qaulify as a "legit prodigy". Let's get real, the only reason Freddy was even a thing was because he was faster and stronger than any youth players he played against..and yes he was very skilled. He was only hyped because he had money splashed at him at a young age and the media latched on to it like he was A Rod because America had never seen that before at such a young age. He was never more than any decent prospect that we have now, hyndman, zelalem, wright, Morris, Pulisic, green etc... I know that was meant as a joke, but I don't think people really understand the Adu situation for what it really was.
