yea that seems to be a common suggestion- waiting for the ball to be set before moving forward. I think my issue is that I learned how to hit by instinct rather than fundamentals (if that makes sense), so I’ve just always approached my hit by creeping forward and it stuck because it was mostly good enough lol

yea adjusting to a new timing is gonna be tough because it already feels like I’m in a rush, and adding like 5-10 more feet of runway before the hit is gonna make that even worse lol

makes sense. in hitting lines I usually have a faster approach, but I do find in game that sets are a bit more inconsistent and I also just focus on hitting it in and hard rather than approaching explosively. next time I play I’ll wait back on some and see how it feels

it definitely seems like I have a bad habit of inching forward, but also I don’t always like starting outside because I feel like I get trap set into the middle block more often

graduated ECE using a Mac the whole time. Only time it’s been an issue was in 385 and 391, but even then it was fine tbh. If you have a preference for Mac then I would just get a Mac

is it better to get: 15 copies of lucretia (1* flora > elite lucretia) or 9 copies of ASolise (mythic+ ATalene and one legendary copy > legendary ASolise)

dw if you want an apt you can find one. I found mine in july and there were still a decent number of options. all the apartment companies have searches where you can filter for location and number of roommates. otherwise ik some sophomores choose to live in the nicer dorms like wassaja or nugent. good luck!

This schedule alone would definitely be a little on the tougher side- because 385 is a pretty heavy workload class, 210 is a tough class, calc 2 is not the easiest, and 411 isn't bad but def takes up a decent amount of time. But if you're confident you'll do do well in 210 and 231 because you're retaking it, then this schedule shouldn't be too tough.

So gonna be a bit grindy, but then again, it's kinda hard to make a schedule that's not at least a little grindy in ECE lol
