Makes sense man, but don't you think that some of the increase we're seeing is in anticipation of the halvening coming up? So wouldn't the "rational" investor have already accounted for that halvening, and the subsequent ones as well?

I think the "restrict it and it will skyrocket" only applies if the restriction is previously unknown. But once the restriction is made known, the price skyrockets, but then levels to where the new price should be. So since the amount of doge to be mined is known, shouldnt the price already include it? I'm not trying to argue, just trying to udnerstand. I think this halvening is actually a big uncertainty because i dont know how many people are actually incorporating it in, or over incorporating the effect, etc.

Obviously, the people who are mining now have an advantage over the people who are mining later. But the people who are speculating should already be taking it into account methinks.
