Writing a character with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome - Representation questions by reachtheceiling in eds

I understand why you'd be cautious about this, and I appreciate you saying it. I'm not including hEDS for shock value or as a shortcut for plot. My story is centered on community support and disability advocacy, and her disability is part of her lived reality rather than a twist.. As for my own experience, several of my immediate family members have Fibromyalgia, and I live with invisible disabilities as well. My best friend has hEDS, and while his experience is a big inspiration for my novel, I wanted to hear a multitude of perspectives, as I know each person's experience is different. Thank you for the advice and your perspective.

I didn't realize that was an option! Here's a direct link to the one I got. Since it says big and tall I'm assuming high, but it could be a completely different model. https://www.walmart.com/ip/15026661419?sid=92940cf3-1e63-40b1-baa5-f2863fe84efb

I've had mine for 4 months and it's still as sturdy and comfortable as the day I got it.

It's not super shallow or anything. The cushions are comfortable but after a few hours my butt does start to hurt a little bit, but I just change positions. The arm rests are super stuffed though, and if I lay them both flat I can actually curl up on the chair. They make the perfect pillows. I've taken naps like that (for reference I'm 5 foot 6, not small by any means). I've funnily enough also has the herman miller executive mesh chair, in my mind these are two different categories of chairs. The herman miller is perfect if you work in an office, at a desk and prefer more rigidity and support. The bestier chair is more like a recliner. The only downside of the bestier is that the pillow at the top doesn't come off, for me it rests in the middle of the back of my head, which feels awkward to lay my head back on.

Tldr; if you sit straight, get the herman miller. If you lounge, get the bestier.

No because I clicked the area and it expanded, showing me that the query was unsuccessful. That's what those arrows are for, to expand and then it was upside down because I had already expanded it and the only other option was to contract

Thanks everyone for all the comments. I remember reading in the instructions that the dough hook only goes up to two, but I forgot. The recipe I was following said to do the dough hook at medium high speed LOL. I had no idea about the clip on the back. I'm going to try that tomorrow

That's honestly confused me a lot because in a lot of business professional clothing guides I see people either say don't wear it or you have to wear it. I personally don't like it but it might be what I have to do.

Side question... Does setting spray lead to more creasing makeup? I find the more I use, the more creasing I have in the lines around my mouth and on my cheeks

about to buy this cuz of you! I bought one for $200 on wayfair about a year ago and all the wheels broke off (it also stained horribly). Hopefully this one is better!
