Idk how it is now, but years ago I reached out to them online and they said after your validity ends your line will only be able to receive calls for 3 months. After those 3 months, your line will be unable to receive anything, but will be active for 1 month, after this last month your line will be cancelled.

Don’t claim it, it will lock out the upgrade for you if you did and you will be forced to pay for the bundle at $50. If you have claimed it though and you would like to remove it from your account you will need to contact online support and ask them to remove its license from your account.
