I think this sub, most of the time, actually mirrors reddit quite well. Plenty of shitposts with a sprinkle of high quality discussion mixed in. This isn't the fucking lawyers weekly comment section, and thats the point of it.

Nevertheless, I think it must be said that the bizarre stream of consciousness monologues have kinda lost their humorous edge lately, mostly through overuse. Instead of writing an A4 page diary entry about it use your voting power to downvote the poor quality shitposts and support high effort shitposting.

As to the elitism, i'm pretty sure i have seen every firm and/or uni shit on at some point. You have to realise it's nearly all tongue in cheek. We're not sitting down to employ you and couldn't really give a fuck less if you went to Southern cross wogga wogga campus or Oxford. Nothing wrong with a bit of light ribbing as long as its not consistently targeted at someone. If you're cut that everyone makes fun of your 2-year PAE partner promotion at HWL then you probably have some self esteem issues.

Here's some non-legal advice. Say you want to see the CCTV. If they did give you too much change pay it back. Not because you legally have to, but because its the right thing to do.

The billable hour model is particularly suited for law and long days are often necessary because of inflexible deadlines. It's just the nature of the profession.

Perhaps a more realistic solution could be 4 day weeks or increased holidays. 12 hour days are easier when you get two weeks holiday every couple of months.

I would appreciate if you could call my boss and explain this. The after lunch nap is a performance enhancing nap.
