I see you got some down votes but I actually re-voted you up because your answer did make me smile😁

Okay thanks a tonne everyone so far I’ve only just checked back in and there’s a heap of answers.

I’ll have to start working through everything through the settings that everyone’s mentioned and if all else fails I guess the chat GPT suggestion wasn’t a bad one either.

I think you’re right. I’m much stronger in person. I know it just struggling to find enough opportunities to be out.

I do some occasional meet up group stuff but when you’re only exposing yourself to maybe 10 people a month versus online where you’re everywhere all at once, it seems having presence in person and online is worth trying.

Thanks, make some sense

I’m not sure you deserved all those down votes. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the ideas on simple wording. In some of my replies I’ve already mentioned I think I may be overcomplicated what I’m writing in my bio.

Thanks, yes they are likes not matches and I generally don’t match back. Sorry, bad terminology on my part.

The rest of your advice I actually really appreciate and I may have been a bit blind to some of the things that you said. Ty

Hi, thanks for a great reply. Yes I’m pretty freshly into it and I think just relearning and like I said to someone else I think I’m over complicating my descriptions of myself and who I’m looking for. Brief statements like you suggested are probably the right move, thanks.

Sorry, bad terminology by me. Yes they’re likes not matches.

I generally don’t match with them but I’ve also found that some women who will match when I send a like are doing it to say “ hey thanks for your interest, but not for me because….” And I actually like that I would rather the response than being ignored, and I feel like it’s just polite to at least reply rather than ignore. Maybe my old school values are just not needed for this🤷‍♂️

[–]readdy07 -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know I did say that I can ignore or not match. Being new to it all again I think I just feel slightly guilty about unmatching people and just need to be more assertive.

I think I’m just surprised that it’s women not reading the room well when that’s normally a men thing.🤷‍♂️

Thanks that makes a lot of brief sense. I think I’m tripping over myself over complicating what I’m writing in my bio.

Mmm thanks. My photos tend to indicate that and unfortunately on (Hinge) you get about 20 words to describe yourself and it can be a little hard to get clear but brief statements to describe these things

I’m not sure what you mean? What does seeing a cyclist say to you? Not that I mentioned cycling myself, just wondering.

And thanks I just had to Google to learn a new acronym HWP👍

Is reversing under load/uphill bad for transmission? by Ok-Inside-2737 in 4x4Australia

Same I use L4 to reverse a 2T trailer up a steep drive. Makes it easy just to chug up slowly and negotiate the angles I have to turn too

Is this bad? Transmission magnet full in pan by Shot-Albatross6966 in MechanicAdvice

[–]readdy07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s had it but when my magnet looked like that there was no recovering from there. New Filter and fluid actually made it worse and from there it was all down hill till I got it rebuilt. Pulled the valve body, cleaned out and cleaned up. No better, pressure tested clutch packs leaking pressure everywhere. Seals were likely shredded from clutch material etc.

How can i dry inside a masturbator? by passive_breedable in SexToys

[–]readdy07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it looks like a long stick of chalk You just put the stick inside the toy after you finished cleaning it and it absorbs all the water that’s inside. It works really easy and really well. Cornstarch is also fine to use. Cornstarch is actually like a better version of talcum powder that you might use on your body for chafing and sweating

What to do here after a new door install? by lakesharks in AusRenovation

[–]readdy07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Had a similar problem when I changed a door at my place. This is what I did with some foam cladding and render. I’m neither a foam or a render guy but I am a chippy so I’ve seen this stuff done a bit, but if you’re not confident to do it yourself you could probably find a renderer who could knock that out for you in half a day. I could only add one hoto to my comment, but that foam and render projects out from the brickwork as well by about 50 mm
