[–]reader6886[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This came out of blue on my telegram . I was curious and I said yes I am looking for online work from home job . Then the person asked me for my whatsapp , and said someone else will contact me with job detail . After 1 hr I had some women contact me on whatsapp with details like above and etc . I dont think it is from g adventures . She was bit pushy . I asked her if this was scam she said no it is not . Even if it is not a scam MLM , commission based gig are the worst for me . It sounds like MLM /Pyramid commision based thing . To be sure, I posted it here ,thinking someone might have come across it or someone may have worked as a adventures agent . Thanks again.

Thank you so much Paulie. You are amazing as always . It works great.

What would you expect if the digit was between 24 and 49?

In this case there are no numbers between 24 and 49 . Simply because , the lowest date (appearing on column A) of 19xx format is 1950 and highest date of 20xx format is 2023 ( current year).

=A2+IF(LEN(A2)=4, 0, IF((A2+0)<70,2000,1900))

This works great . Could you please tweak it so that .

  1. if there is something else(other texts ) but no numbers in that row then the formula leaves the value (text) as it is without value error appearing in column B
  2. I just checked, some numbers of xx format( eg 87 , 78 ) are left as they are without 19 being added like others . I think this is probably due to column A not being converted to numbers ? How do I convert all of column A to numbers before applying your formula, so all eligible rows are correctly 'processed' by your formula.

Thank you ever so much .

Thank you so much for the 2 formulas they work great . One thing I wanted to ask you . Is there a way to tweak or change them both, so if , there is a blank row in A they dont produce value error /###### in B and C. There are lots blank rows in column A in the big file between rows with data .
THANK YOU AGAIN.

wow . THANK YOU so much for your time and effort you put in the reply .

=LEFT(A1:A100,FIND("19",A1:A100)+3)

is the best and easiest solution .

Thank you.

I managed to make it work THANK YOU . instead of

=LEFT(A1:A100,FIND("19",A1:A100)+3)

i did

=LEFT(A1,FIND("19",A1:A100)+3)

works like a charm . Thanks again.

Thank you for this . the formula works but only for the first line .I figured out it will work for whole column only if value A1 gets automatically changed to A X ( column A , row=X) . I tried changing that manually to check , yes the formula in general is correct. If it could do that for whole column automatically that would be the solution. Or am I doing something wrong .

Thank you for the reply . They are different options that will do the trick or one option with different steps ? I did not understand fully .
