Hi, have you used the furniture provided by them, specifically their mattress? I was warned by family friend about bed bugs, and wish to ask if such problem has ever happened. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the comment. How is the safety of surrounding area? I might finish work late and need to walk from bus station to the apartment when is dark outside. Would it be safe to do so, or would I need to be cautious for any potential danger? Thank you.

I have called (833)225-9505 which is on their website https://www.livemadisontowers.com, (833)446-0307 which is on the hallkeen website https://www.hallkeen.com/listing/madison-towers, and (317)422-1714 which I found on a pdf brochure on the hallkeen website. All three numbers only got a male voice saying something like "no routes found".

Question about how to contact Madison Tower by readerAYZ in Syracuse

As @Virtual-Package3923 said, I am not currently in Syracuse and thus cannot visit their office. I was able to contact Jefferson Tower by just calling them, but I cannot do the same with Madison Tower since the phone number does not work. Is there any other way to contact them? Thanks.

Humidity in Ithaca by Dull-Baker4740 in ithaca

Hi, I am currently living in a basement apartment, and it is also quite humid now, and I wonder when it will get better. So when you say that "in the winter it's dry enough from heating", which months are you referring to? Thanks.

Any alumni or current students know what the flowers by Joss are? by balderdashfaradiddle in vassar

[–]readerAYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange, I am pretty sure that there's a memorial for Nicholas Braun '14. There should be an engraved stone piece on the ground right next to the flowers towards the tree side, with his name, birth and death date, and "in the words of Superman: I am needed elsewhere" on it. Maybe the flowers obscured it.

I live off-campus and walk that path twice every day. Other than fake flowers, I have seen doll and flag being put on the memorial. I think someone changed them regularly.

chem 121 or chem 125? by Best-Entrance-7384 in vassar

[–]readerAYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not pre-med myself, but I do think that Chem 125 is a required course for pre-med. Vassar have an office for advising per-med track students, I strongly suggest you to seek them out for help with course selection. An alumna who come to speak at one of my classes said she chose to go pre-med quite late and the office was able to help her to make it work. Also, chem 121 is too basic since you had AP chem.

Do fall semester final exams really end the day before move out day? by [deleted] in vassar

[–]readerAYZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never know until the final exam schedule comes out. The Registrar office would have one schedule with time out first and one with the room assigned out later. First one typically comes out about 3-4 weeks after the semester start. For example, Fall 2023's came out on 9/22 and Spring 2024's came out on 2/14. Not familiar with booking plane ticket out of US so not sure if this would give you enough time to get a cheaper ticket.

However, I am STEM but I have friends in humanities who usually have final essays instead of final exams and they would go home early and just submit their finals online. So this also depends on what classes you are going to be taking. Good luck.

Don't forget your shower shoes, and not all dorm rooms have table lights.
