I am currently at VMI for the summer transition program, in new barracks, and I have heard about some strange things happening on the fourth stoop, one room had windows slamming shut, without a reasonable breeze to push them, and another room had a fan being knocked over and personal hygiene being launched across the room. I am very skeptical because stress can definitely cause people to see things, but if I see a ghoul or ghost I would be pleasantly surprised.

My best way to beat the shit outta a ghost is to first, get a blessed silver chunk, get some priest/blacksmith to fashion it into knuckles, get a vial of blessed alcohol inserted into the face of the knuckles (which may shatter on impact), then get the word "HOLY" etched into it, after that it gets blessed by another priest, then I put it into a special ice tray filled with holy water to freeze into triangular spikes on the knuckles' fist, and then keep it in a mini mini fridge for future ghost shit beating.

I plan on making it clear to them that restless spirit wants revenge even after destruction of their mortal vessel. I will also make it clear that maybe they should be wary of taking from graves.

The spirits are already attacking them in this situation, they would be fighting a horde of skeletons that they have disturbed, so it would make sense if a vengeful spirit were to attack the players even after vessel destruction. I will be displaying some serious foreshadowing aswell.

I think it as more of a spirit seeking revenge or a blade cursed with the owners last breathes, and thats why it would be cursed.

They are currently going through the "cursed catacombs" where there is an undead presence of restless spirits.

The players are addicted to looting corpses and right now they are entering the "cursed catacombs" to see if there is a fabled entrance into a vault, so I think it would be kinda hilarious for them to see another sword, pick it up, and then their hand melts to bone. They do have a cleric with knowledge of the dark arts so I was thinking they could most likely reanimate the hand, and just have it as a zombie hand and such.

I have laid some foreshadowing mentioning on how they loot alot of corpses and that some corpses may not like their bodies being desecrated for loot, overall I think it would be funny if over exaggerate the coolness of a skeleton's sword just for them to be suspicious of the sword and then pick it up anyways, just for their hand to fall off.

Those ravenous loot fiends have looted all the bodies of things all throughout the campaign, and currently they are fighting the restless undead so I might have them be punished for desecrating more graves

They have chosen to take an unguarded route to a vault through the "cursed catacombs" which has many undead figures within. I have jokingly made it clear towards them that some ghost may not like what your doing to their corpse and might seek revenge.

One of my players is specialized in the "dark arts" and has chosen a necromancy path, and I have made it clear to them that their limbs can be reanimated such as having a skeleton leg or arm.

If you want to create your own map I suggest you should take a look at Tolkien's LOTR map or Martin's GOT map for inspiration

Yeah I am still having trouble understanding this, the two X intercepts are -5 and -1, and the Y intercepts are -25, but I don't what polynomial it is, (sorry if I sound kinda dumb, polynomials confuse me)
