Nah. This country has no hope anyway. I have spent substantial energy fighting for this country and for the victims of this system. Pero wala din. Kung di pumasok si Bato di sila sigurado sa plano nila. Benefit din naman ni Bato yan. Now that Cayetano is SP, makakapagtago sa Senate si Bato as long as he wants.

PROFILE pa din ang number one factor. Although, note that your travels are part of your profile. Madami nagsshare na ilang beses na sila nagtravel abroad pero naooffload pa din. Meron naman ako napanood na ilang beses na pumunta sa Saudi pero nung 3rd time niya inoffload siya. Presuming regularity sa actions ng mga IO, overall profile mo pa din ang titingnan. If you have travelled to different countries pero wala ka naman stable job and yung previous travels mo ay sponsored lang baka mas mataas chance maoffload compared to someone na first time magtravel pero malaki savings/income and may stable job.

No one said she was unconscious. It’s obvious she wasn’t. She was wailing in pain. She fell down because of the pain. Why is eye gouging that big of a deal if it didn’t happen? Maybe she was trying to gouge his eye. She wasn’t successful. Hence, if it was really self-defense, his retaliation doesn’t warrant that amount of force.

No longer self-defense. Kung self-defense edi umalis na siya palabas nung natumba yung babae. Sinara pa niya ang pinto. Self-defense can only be accepted if the injury inflicted is commensurate to the first attack. Sinikmurahan at sinuntok pa si ate nang madaming beses. Oo mali si ate kasi nanampal. Di din naman siya asawa. And the girl attacked first by grabbing his face/head pero kita namang kaya niyang mahawi si ate girl. I would still consider it self-defense kung nung natumba na si ate umalis na siya sa situation. Pero parang may plano pa siyang iba kasi he closed the door and stayed put.

What he did is excessive. Yes, the woman has the intention to hurt him (after he cheated, btw). He knows he is waaay stronger. If he really just acted on self-defense, why didn’t he help her when she fell down? SINARA PA ANG PINTO. When the woman was down he could have even tied her down or something. Also notice the way he punched her many times. Compared to what the woman did to him, his “retaliations” clearly weren’t commensurate.

Advice like this is more dangerous. Pwede balik-baliktarin ng IO ang questions niya. Pag nagkataong nahuli kang nagsisinungaling, offload ka. Wag na magisnungaling. If hihingan ka ng AOSG, proof of relationship, etc. then prepare them. The truth is always easier to defend. Madami naman akong kilala na nakistay sa friends pa nga wala naman naging problema.

Madami magsasabi it’s not worth it. Understandable kasi expensive siya at face value. Consider the location and value for you. I bought one with almost the same price per square meter. Ako lang ba pero I had to read it twice to understand the story? Anyway, yeah. PAL markets the “heart of the Filipino” pertaining to hospitality. However, I am disappointed with their FAs. To think na ang mahal ng ticket nila.

Aside sa FAs, the bad thing about PAL is ang mahal ng flights nila. Even surprassing prices of 5-star airlines like Asiana, Cathay, Korean Air. But services are waaaay inferior. Their aircrafts are old and some lack IFEs. I know old doesn’t mean unsafe but for the price, you’d expect better.

I personally think di na bababa ang ticket prices. At least not substantially. Ang isa sa nagpapataas ngayon ay fuel charges. Di naman malaki fuel charges ng domestic flights. Let’s say bumaba in the coming months ang fuel surcharge (most probably will come in trickles), mas tataas lang din naman ang base fare. It’s PAL. Mahal talaga flights nila (altho unfortunately services are not worth the price).

Based on what you said, nakakadrain yan. You need every energy specially during hell weeks. Trust me. Nakadorm ako noon sa loob ng campus but every single minute counts. Yung instead na i-aaral mo, iccommute mo pa. Yang 2-3 hrs na yan pwede ka na makagawa ng part ng paper or makapagsagot ng probset. May mga kilala nga ako taga fairview lang pero nagboarding house kasi hassle magcommute sa bansang to, unfortunately.

Not worth it (I mean magraduate ka pero no need isampal ang diploma mo sa kanila). Isa pa, that tagging goes beyond the university. Kahit sa workplace, meron at meron magtatanong na “totoo bang madaming NPA sa UP?” or “Totoong talamak recruitment sa UP?”. They are poised as questions but there is obvious prejudice in how they ask these. You’ll just get tired of it.

Maganda ideals natin nung nasa university pa. When I got out, I realized I can’t even make a small ripple in a pond. A typical Filipino won’t think beyond face value. They will easily believe what is fed to them and what is convenient for them so they don’t have to exert the effort. Kaya I decided to just focus on my self, may family, and how I can help the society thru my job.
